| Black Friday I know there are some Black Friday shoppers on Yorkie Talk, remember talking about it last year. Has anyone started planning their shopping yet? I was on a few websites this morning and the ads are beginning to get "leaked", Walmart and Target had their "pre-Black Friday" sales today (didn't go, nothing I needed).

| Ah I love Black Friday, but the lines are brutal. I can't decide between Walmart and the mall, lol. Best Buy always has good deals but the lines are ridiculous. |

| Year after year I am beginning to hate Christmas. I mean there is stuff in the stores before Halloween. It's pathetic. By the time Christmas comes I am just so sick of seeing it all. I think this year I'm doing my shopping on line. I hate, parking, lines, crowds. It's not fun anymore at all. It is just so over commercialized and the whole spirit is just lost. I am going to try to keep it simple this year. I think I'm just going to spend some nice time with my husband and my children. We will make honey balls like we used to. Maybe make some home made pasta. The crazy running all over is over for me.

| I can't wait til Black Friday. It's tradition on Thanksgiving to buy a million papers & make our battle plans. With me & probably 3 of my sister's going we can get stuff for each other & hit every place at once. It's also smart to use ads at stores that will match them-if store X is featuring __ and store Y isn't then they'll most likely have it in stock with no crazies running you over. It is a madhouse, and annoying at times but I like it. The big thing this year seems to be places opening at midnight, I don't really think that'll be as fun as 4a.m. I'm just hoping I get the day off, I've been wheeling & dealing for a month. jmdt, you should wait until the Monday after, that's "Black Monday" when there are tons of great deals everywhere online.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | My black friday last year was a nightmare. I had a list of things to get that were available at midnight. I figured I would go early, scope everything out and get them at 12am. Well after my daighter called and begged me, did I say ? (Begged Me) I ended up in line at 11pm waiting on the HP 298.00 lap top for my daughter. Not at all what I had planned on. I got in line for about a half an hour than thankfully I remembered I still had a lawn chair in my car. I waited for about 9 or more hours on that stupid thing. Than after bartering with a stranger who was only there with a friend. I traded time in my chair so I could go finish the shopping I had org. been there to get. NOPE sorry bout my luck.... by 3am all was gone or being pick over like rats trying to find their next grain of rice.... Definitely NOt a one person Job!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | My last Black Friday experience several years ago was a doozy My daughter & I CAMPED out in front of BestBuy with about 1000 other ppl. We had a tent & the whole shebang. I was sore as hell for days after & 1/2 of what we went for was gone before we got into the store because of the crowd that rushed in from the sides of the line. It was horrible & I've vowed never ever to do it again. I DO however use Fatwallet.com & there's some really good deals listed for different stores as well as cashback for online sales

| After having worked retail (Sears, local outlet mall, Steinmart) I REFUSE to do the Black Friday dance! I decided that if I was meant to purchase something, it would be available either before or after that weekend. I have a very short fuse anymore, and it is probably a good idea for me to spend that time either at home or at the movies, lol! |

| I always spend Black Friday watching Christmas movies, recovering from Thanksgiving, eating leftovers and watch the news showing all of the shoppers out and about. Due to my hip I haven't been able to join the melee but once I have a new joint, I will likely be hitting the malls early on forthcoming Black Fridays. I can stand in line with the best of 'em! I LOVE Christmas shopping and the madness of Christmas shopping and the crowds!!! I love everything about Christmas.
