***COLD WEATHER****It's Fall Not Winter!!!
 
Have seen the weather forecast for much of the Northeast and states below in the coming storm's path. Actually running the heat for the first time here in North Texas and the panhandle had some snow but the storm they are forecasting for you guys "up there" is kind of scary sounding:lightning:umbrella::rain::snow:. Hope all YorkieTalkers and their pets in the path stay warm, dry, safe and keep electricity throughout the coming weather!

8!!!!! I didn't know it would be that bad - just heard it on network news but they didn't give inches, etc. My goodness!

They have my area in CT as 6 - 8 inches . . with wind gust of up to 60mph . . .they say stronger than when Irene hit us . . .but I'm finding it all hard to believe . . .it's not the first time they've been wrong on their forecasts . but if it happens . . . we will be ready!

I hate the snow, but something about the first snow makes it all ok . . I'm only sick of it after the Holidays . . .and last year OMG, we definitely do not want to repeat that!

Hey, I was ready for summer to end, and I was super excited for Fall.... I think I got about a WEEK of actual Fall weather, lol. What the heck?! Not ready for snow YET as much as I love it. October is NOT snow time here in MD. lol

So true. Fall is for cool weather and leaves - not cold weather and snow!

I'm in the eastern panhandle right next to the MD line and just heard we are suppose to get hit hard her too. It's crazy! :(

Me to!!! reading about this snow storm reminded me of the ice storm a few years back we were without electricity for 11 days and some were without longer..i thank God that we had just put in a gas fireplace that year. my babies
were toasty warm

we got a coating of snow on the cars and the grass on thursday night. that was pretty. but they are predicting 8 to 12 inches of snow here today starting later this afternoon. i'm going out this morning to get some gas for my snowblower, i hope it starts up ok. i really hate snow :(

I don't want snow! We'll be using our pumpkin for the head of our snowman! I think I'm ready to move to So. Carolina.

I don't have a pumpkin, LOL, ok, weather report, I just looked outside and is SNOWING, at 9:10 AM, EDT...

I just can hardly believe it. Don't know how that would play with my mind seeing snow in October! I guess your Yorkie(s) is/are pretty excited. I hope you don't get a lot and all stay warm and safe!

Just turned on The Weather Channel and see that Pennsylvania is getting walloped by snow!!! Lots of it. It looks so pretty but just weird, too, for this early - to see snow on Halloween decorations and burying them is strange! The weatherman said that the snow is trailing down more southernward than previously expected. New Jersey was starting to get some light snow during that report.

It is so pretty there even if it is early.

I'm watching the Times Square EarthCam and you can even hear it snowing!!! Pretty wet snow in NY area right now and it's like 36 degrees or something there.

Not ready for snow either! Just got through the flooding from Irene and now this. I sure hope the power stays on! It hasn't hit here yet but expecting 8 inches...the wind picked up though!

I am so glad I live in the South, we only have cold weather and rain. Prayers and Hugs for you that have to deal with this terrible weather.

It's bad in Connecticut, wet snow, power outages and the winds haven't really started yet. Just got a call from my daughter saying her husband just totaled his truck coming home from work. Thankfully he's not hurt.

Ya'll, this is just terrible! I am so sorry for what you all are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with every one of you. Hope this doesn't last long and warm sun is the order of the day very soon.
