| Anybody know of any "work-at-home" jobs? *plz read* Long and sad story short, my son has a seizure disorder as well as autism, and because of this, daycares in my area find ways to deny my son.....wrong, I know. They do have special schools for children with developmental disorders, but you have to be 3 years old. He is only 2. So I stay at home and my husband works. Well we just bought a new house....first time with a mortgage payment (we are a young family) Money is a little tight. Does anyone know of any Work-From-Home jobs? I know there are a ton of scams, I was just hoping someone would know of something. Or even a legitimate Mystery Shopping job. Nothing extreme, just to be able to help with finances a little. Anything would be helpful!!!

| ask local dr and hospitals about medical transcription jobs from home. search craigslist among other websites for local things. there are sometimes telemarketing jobs and accounting based jobs. i'm doing the same thing. trying to work from home or work part-time somehow. maybe try dog sitting or watching one other child in your home if you can. |

| I would recommend trying a few mystery shop businesses. I found a company that is legit and pays via cheque. Why don't you look into creating a business, are you good with a sewing machine? baking? ya never know you could be on shark tank next year making millions :P

| Online coupon companies hire people to work from home and connect their site to online coupons. I'm probably not saying that correctly, but I know my brother did something like that a year ago. Paid good money too. Wish I would have switched to that when I had a chance.

| I'd have to second the transcription at home idea. A lot of dr's offices and some hospitals outsource transcription. Some outsource copying medical records also, like when an ins co asks for copies of records. There are companies that specialize in medical record outsourcing. I also know of ppl who are information technology (computer ppl) who work out of home for large corporations. They are able to troubleshoot from home.

| Medical transcription courses are offered on-line. I think you have to be certified to be a medical transcriber, but the on-line courses could make it possible. Call one of your local hospitals and ask where they would recommend one take the course.

| I just wanted to comment about the medical transcription jobs. I'm not sure if this is typical for most areas or not, but in our area, most employers expect transcriptionists to have an associate degree. When I was trying to decide what to go to college for, I contacted a friend who has been in transcription for 15+ years. She said an associates degree was needed, but that jobs were becoming scarce!

| There are survey sites you can find that will pay you take surveys for them. Not a ton of money but you can do ok if you do maybe 5 a day for $5 that is $25 a day. Like I said, not a ton of money, but a little extra each month to help. Try e-Rewards.

| I hope the link works. This is the company that my little brother worked for that allowed him to work from home. Maybe there is something in your area. Internet Brands, Inc. : Work With Us IB (internet brands) is acquiring websites all the time. I just saw they acquired a mommy site (forum) and I know they hire moderators for their sites.
