| Survivor: South Pacific My first impression: this group is more boring than the last one, if that is possible. Coach and Ozzy are back. Russel's nephew (?) Brandon is trying to hide his family name. John Cochran, the nerdy Harvard law student, offers comic relief. He is like Woody Allen, Dustin Hoffman, and Billy Crystal rolled into one. What do think?

| Well, so far I don't find it very interesting, but as time goes on, it will get more entertaining and I will get hooked. Anytime they bring back previous players, the "newbies" always lets them be the leaders of the groups!! I guess they think they can learn from them. It seems like they look up to them like they are celebrities. I agree with you about John Cochran. He must have pleaded his case really well at tribal. I was for sure they were going to vote him out. I'm glad he wasn't, he is nerdy, but entertaining. I think next week, Brandon tells someone that he is Russell's nephew, doesn't he?

| I think you may be right that the preview showed Brandon revealing his relationship. He looks like Russel. I was laughing at his little sidebar about the pretty girl "flaunting" herself when she was not. She was building a shelter and working, not sunbathing or striking poses in her bikini.

| LOL, Russel's nephew Brandon is strange. Can't control himself around "seductive" women and resents them. His definition of a woman behaving seductively is that she is breathing. Still not a very interesting group. Coach seems so normal this time around.

| Never could get into Survivor; my dad was obsessed with the show for a while, lol. My stepmom and him watched every season. I'll have to ask him if he's watching it again.

| Did you notice the look that comes across Brandon's face when he sees that girl? He wants her so badly! This dude has a problem for sure! I keep waiting for Coach to do his meditating exercises on the beach. Has he gotten counseling since last season? He seems normal this time around. I don't think Ozzie is going to trust Brandon anymore since the tribal counsel. Hope it picks up some speed next week.

Coach has to be medicated. He is so calm, cool, and collected that I hardly recognize him. Maybe the producers are editing out the meditations and crazy sidebars to reinforce the new image.

I think it's more like STARVATION! Russell needs to have a long talk with this boy, but that's probably part of the problem! The crazy antics are what makes the show so good and Coach provided a lot of them last season. I noticed Survivor wasn't even nominated for an emmy this year, although Jeff Probst won Outstanding Host for a Reality Program. He is sort of cute, huh? Aaah, those dimples!

| He seems like he is a ticking time bomb. I hope it is just the lack of the food and the hardships of camp life and that he isn't this way at home.

| I don't think it has anything to do with where he is...I think this guy has some serious problems and he needs to go before everyone finds out just how deep the problems are.
