The infamous grilled cheese sandwich is made with real mayo instead of butter. I did a taste test between the 2 and the mayo was the winner hands down. Oh, and of course I use fat free cheese

helman's mayo work? i wanna try it, maybe i'll like it. so you make the grilled cheese with mayo on the bread that frys up and crips instead of the butter spread on it? do you put more mayo inside the sandwhich?

I just put the mayo only on the outside. I'm sure sugarmamma or capt_noonie can give you exact details.

Just use mayo on the outside of the bread instead of butter. Priscilla puts more mayo inside too. However, my azz does not require more mayo

Yes, Hellman's will work. I use Dukes tho

you guys DON'T put it on the inside??? I ask for mayo in my Breakfast Jack. In a grilled cheese it makes the cheese even more gooier.

Lisa, my azz could use some more mayo, however, there are adjacent parts of me that could use less, and I don't gain evenly.

LOL Last night I was really hungry...then thought of capt. noonies pic. So I made me a mayo grilled cheese sandwich with brown bread, american cheese, cheddar cheese, and provolone.

My hubby said "wow....that's a lot of cheese!" Now to work off these extra 5lbs.

I took a pic of it but it didn't look nearly as good as capt. noonies pic but it was DELISH!
