| Crazy Weather/Record Flooding What is it with all the crazy weather everywhere this past year? We are having record flooding here today. The flood waters were rising so quickly, ppl were stranded in their cars, in their homes. There was a report where two dogs were attempted to be rescued but they drowned before they could get to them. We have water up to the roof of so many buildings. We are in a state of emergency here. There are some mandatory evacuations. Our home is on high ground here, but the roads around us are flooding. We feel terrible for the ppl in lower lying areas that have been evacuated and are in red cross centers.

| Poor doggies. My brothers each had cars totaled by flooding in suburban Chicago this summer. This has been a very hard year. Stay safe up there, especially when driving.

| So so so sad. It's been raining all day here too. Our basement flooded... again. We've had some LOUD thunder and lightening. Jackson usually does okay in most storms but he's terrified tonight! Poor fella was shaking after a few loud booms. He's sooo nervous right now, won't relax. I am sick of summer storms. Fall and winter.... please come quick.

Sorry to hear your basement is flooded again. So far, knock on wood, ours just has damp cement walls in some places. We are up on a hill so we are better off than some other ppl. We have had more deaths. A man in Hershey was trying to get the water out of his basement, and a basement wall caved in on him and killed him. Hope you guys are ok. It looked like you guys are in this band of constant rain also on the news.

| So sad. Hershey Park's ZooAmerica flooded. They were able to get all the animals out but the buffalo. Their pasture was in a very low-lying area. The water rose so quickly, staff was not able to get to them. They were overcome with water, and the staff had to put them down.

Here's a link from our local news for a slide show. My area is the pics in the high 90's (95 - 98). Mt. Joy area. We are up high, though, but I feel terrible for the ppl lower. The pics are the flooding on our Main St in Mt. Joy, our main route. Our main University hospital, Penn State, is having trouble getting ppl in and out due to the road buckling and the flooding.
