Our winds really kicked up after midnight and made a racket that caused the dogs to bark. The rain is finally coming to an end, but we will probably continue to have 25 mph wind gusts throughout the day. We lost only one tree and we still have all of our roof shingles.

Happy to hear from you this morning! I was thinking about you last night. so far not much to report, not a lot of rain, just seems breezy. I was out this morning with the dogs and it was still pretty quiet. I expect it to be worsen as the day goes on, but we are quite use to storms. Hoping everyone else is safe as well, I hope we don't lose power so I can continue to "check" in throughout the day.

We landed yesterday at Logan and are now in Medford. Looks like you are really in a vulnerable spot there, Rosemarie. I'm glad it looks like things are calming down at least a little bit. We're feeling safe here, just may be a little too rainy to get out today.

Glad you landed safely Jen, still pretty calm here. My mother grew up in Medford..I am very familiar with the area. I am from Woburn originally, about 10 minutes from Medford. Stay safe...we still have no rain here, not that I mind.

Alls good here, in DC, from what I can see from my window....looks like a lot of Leaves all over the ground.... but that is it.
Haven't actually been outside, yet.... but will probably make it outside in a little bit..... after some coffee....

We didn't have the sense to come in out of the rain, and shopped at Target until about 10:30 this morning. It was rainy, and a bit windy, but not bad.
Glad everyone is safe at this point!

We made out really, really well! Still have power . . .lots of leaves, branches and some bigger bulkier limbs, but that's all at my house . . .I know around town there are trees down, but so far, we've been good! It's still really really gusty here, but the rain is done . . .the dogs want to go outside, but it's still too gusty and the trees in the woods in the back are making me keep them in.

that is beautiful

we just had alot branches all over the yard, but never even lost power. alot did in my area. a few houses down from me a streetlight came down and a whole tree uprooted.
