I take it you have never lived through a storm like this!! THIS HURRICANE WILL KILL PEOPLE.....DON'T BE CRAZY!! To take any chances is not responsible at all.
I was in Miami when Andrew hit... we waited too late to get out.. it was the most terrifing night of my life... people were hurt, and died.
The aftermath was horrible, no power, no food, rats..yes RATS in the garbage on the streets...not something you want to go through if you have the option to get out.

After seeing the news.... i agree. I didnt no that they had done mandatory evacuations in NC. Just herd abou that today. I live in Virginia, Norfolk and we are staying put. Hopefully everyones little fur babies will be ok and that everyone stays safe.

Now nowing that NC is making people evacute, i agree. I did not know that until today. I hope everyone will be ok and that their fur babies will be ok. I am not evacuating because i live in Norfolk, VA and i dont think anyone is... maybe a few. I hope everyone will be ok

Hi everyone - we are now safely in Raleigh, NC. We are fortunate enough to be able to stay in a condo that my company has that is usually used for executives that travel into the area. The evacuation was mandatory for visitors today and residents tomorrow. I was talking to some locals this morning who are going to ride it out - I hope they will be okay....thanks for your concern.
