| Checking in from WV, Eastern Panhandle and it rocked us here too. I was working in my home office, I have a bay window with 3 large sections of glass which started to rattle, then my steelcase slide cabinet doors started vibrating and whoa...felt like the floor was swaying. I jumped up to get to Zhoie, rounded the corner and she was trying to come out of the sunroom towards me and she looked dazed, I said wait...and bless her heart she lowered to the floor with eyes like this . Then it was over, I ran to her and she was a little trembly. It was a scare for sure, but then I got a rush to think...wow, I've now experienced an earthquake in my lifetime. So glad to hear everyone is ok!

| Me, my grandma, and Callie where in the car about 5 minutes from home on our way to the vet for Callies appointment and we were stopped at a red light and all of a sudden it was shaking like crazy and I never thought earthquake I was going omg the car is going to explode something is wrong with it and we pulled over when it stopped and checked the car out and tried calling my dad but after about 10 minutes my bf texted me we just had an earth quake and it started making sense but weird. I have never been in one before I was soooo dizzy and Callie was shaking in her carseat. My dad was in a tower crane in DC so we were VERY happy when he was able to text us that he was down from the crane and safe. When we got home there was a bunch of stuff that fell off my grandpas desk and a few things around the house that were on the floor and the things on the shelves in my room had all shifted. Glad it seems like everyone is ok.

| I am in Wilmington, NC and my office felt it today. My chair was bobbling and I thought someone was behind my shaking it. I was looking behind me and noone was there. Then the guy in the office beside mine said "Are we having an earthquake or something?" I was glad it wasn't just me. I'm 41 years old and never expierenced an earthquake before - just lots of hurricanes here on the coast. Glad there were no major injuries!

| I think I have "tremor envy", as they've been calling it on the news. I don't have a story because I didn't feel anything! I am pretty certain that Roxie felt something, though. I got home about 15 minutes after it happened and Roxie was very clingy. Then she had a couple of freak out/barking fits, and I thought maybe she was feeling some small aftershocks that the rest of us couldn't feel.

| Just seeing this after watching the late night news and wanted to post...Yes we felt it here all the way down in GA! Nothing major just a little rumble, or was that Tink's belly growling? I didn't feel it but there were reports on the news of several people feeling it.

| I don't like living so close to this: The North Anna nuclear plant sits along an earthquake fault, one of the objections raised when the facility was proposed in the early 1970s. The potential for earthquakes and North Anna were again in the news in March after the Fukushima Dai-ichi disaster in Japan. Dominion Power has maintained that the plant is designed to withstand earthquakes up to magnitude 6.2.

| Thats what we would like but he really likes his job because hes pretty good so people will actually call his boss and request him for jobs but boy is it nerve wrecking. Because he works in DC most of the time he has some interesting stores like one time working on something where the president was going he had to hold his hands up and they had a snipper set on him if he did anything. It doesn't help that my dad is spanish (he was my step dad and adopted me and im a paler then a pice of paper so some people look at my last name and then look at me and are shocked lol) and he gets looked at like her might could be a terrorist we dont ever go to the airport with him because they end up searching the car and him like crazy. i blabbering because I'm worried about Callies blood work it will be 3-5 days of my blabbering so I will apologize now lol
