| Husband health update If anyone remembers he was in the hosp for 4 days due to bleeding ulcers caused by ibruprofen he was taking for pain in his shoulder. He is doing great after the ulcer. The ortho finally agreed to do surgery on his shoulder due to a slap injury. They also did carpal tunnel surgery at the same time. He had had that done before on the same wrist. The poor guy had to have mris and nerve conduction tests due to numbness in two fingers. They alo he has a pinched nerve in his neck but they opted not to do surgery at this time. He has been on family leave since june 21st. Will prob be out till oct. I have been off since the surgery Tuesday. He is driving me crazy. I know he is in pain and that makes him cranky. I, of course is the one who has to put up with it. If he would just listen to what i say, he would heal great. He is not wearing his sling. Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts.

| He absolutely MUST wear that sling. Not doing so puts a great strain on the areas that are supposed to be healing back in proper place and it keeps the arm from abducting and rotating too much, which can easily tear something still swollen from surgery. Please make him Google why he needs to wear his sling and read up and wear that thing. It is essential. Hope he and you have a less harrowing fall and winter!

| So sorry you too are faced with this. Tell him that the longer he insists on not following doctors orders, the longer he will have listen to them keep telling him to do it. Good luck. I didn't do all of my rehab when I broke my shoulder and as a result I do not have 100% range of motion.

| Oh no! Well I am glad he is on the road to recovery, thank goodness! Sounds like he was a mess for awhile there! Good Luck to you... I know when my boyfriend just gets tired how difficult he can be so never mind recovering from surgery! YIKES!!!
