He absolutely MUST wear that sling. Not doing so puts a great strain on the areas that are supposed to be healing back in proper place and it keeps the arm from abducting and rotating too much, which can easily tear something still swollen from surgery. Please make him Google why he needs to wear his sling and read up and wear that thing. It is essential. Hope he and you have a less harrowing fall and winter!
