Mary Kay makes a oil control lotion that is life changing. I have friends with very oily skin who really couldn't wear make up... they just LOVE it. I sell Mary Kay if you need it... or there is another yt member who sells MK I just can't remember who right now. I hightly recomend you try it. Also.... I just started using argon oil (with kertin) on my hair. I have very thick curly almost nappy hair. I live in Miami.... ugh!! With the oil and blow dry my hair looks great. I have long hair I used to highlight my hair and it looked so dry and damaged and frizzy. Now it will stay nice for a couple days. I do rewash my bangs and dry them Good luck

| I found a solution to my oily hair problem!!! I bought suave dry shampoo from target. The instructions say to spray it on oil prone hair the first day it is washed. I washed, and styled my hair as usual yesterday and then sprayed the dry shampoo on. I woke up this morning to find my bangs still have life in them!

| My mom has really bad hair. It is frizzy, curly, and so dry it crunches when you touch it. My mom doesn't even bother brushing her hair, because it's just so hard to manage. The only time she bothers, is when she puts it in a pony tail. Is there anything my mom can do or take to help improve her hair?

| Crunchy? Is her hair chemically treated in anyway? No matter how damaged, it shouldn't crunch, not with out product in it.

| She dyes it, with the do it yourself stuff. She doesn't put anything in her hair. She is also going through menopause. Could that be ruining her hair?

| This is very close to what her hair looks like. Hairlicious Inc.: De-Frizz Your Frizzed-up Hair! She has a lot of baby hair that frames her face, and it is all like the pic above. I've tried heat styling it, but the baby hairs aren't long enough. The rest of her hair cam be a little smoother, but the baby hairs are all out and crazy.

| I have your moms hair minus the do it your self dye. My hair is super curly, thick, and used to be dry. I couldn't let it air dry without putting in mousse, because i'd have an afro. [I'm white.] Try Morracan Oil [spelling?] or Aquage Oil Treatment. A bottle of morrocan should last 6 months, same with Aquage. It did WONDERS for my hair. Also, Pantene curl spray is good too, it's not a hairspray, just a pump bottle of conditioning spray |

| Thanks! I'll try the pantene conditioning spray. I forgot to add her hair is very thin. But it still fluffs out.

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | I can help!!!! I have been a stylist for 8 years ![]() Curly hair by nature is dry. Curly hair LOVES moisture.. but you have to create a fine balance between moisture and too much moisture.. otherwise it will weigh it down and become lifeless.. Also... Curly hair.. LOVES product.. Yes.. it does.. No, you don't need crunchy hair gel and gobs of hair spray but.. Like I say to many of my clients you say to me... " I love the way you do my hair but I am never able to re-create what you do.." Well... what products do you use.. " Not much if I use any.." Well lets see today, I have used.. ( then I list all the products) And then I reply.. No.. I couldn't do your hair with out product.. It's like trying to cook something without a recipe ![]() There are some AMAZING products out there for curly Hair.. I personally Love Aveda.. There curly line is my absolute FAV! It's very lightweight but moisturizing ![]() The BE Curly Curl Enhancer is Fabulous. It is like a lotion.. love this stuff. Aveda - Official Site - Shop By Solution - Hair - Curl Enhancement I also love the Shampoo and Conditioner as well.. Big Sexy is also one of my FAVORITES! There curly line is excellent! Sexy Hair I love the curl creme and the liquid gel! and yes... I have used all of this on my hair.. I have curly hair ![]() And.. diffusers are WONDERFUL FOR CURLY HAIR! Try a low setting high heat and you will get great body and great curl! I was also going to suggest a dry shampoo for oily bangs. You may also want to switch up shampoos and conditioners. I personally have a moisture shampoo/conditioner, a volume shampoo/conditioner for my hair in my shower.. I find switching between shampoos and conditioners gives my hair a good balance.. I find if I use a moisture shampo/con every single day my hair becomes too lifeless and I can't get it to do anything... so I switch depending on my style for the day. Focus your conditioner on the ends.. that is where it is needed the most then work up to the scalp. Hope this helps! Sorry it was sooooooo long
