I am so sorry. My sister-in-law had Lupus and had it since her early 20's. She finally gave up on her 42 birthday and we lost her. But she stopped taking her medicine. Her death could have been preventable So tell her not to stop taking hers and she will be okay. Kathy (my sister in-law) was very sweet, had two wonderful kids, and a very devoted husband. Let us know how things are. We hope the sun shines soon for you and your family.

I was diagnosed with Lupus when I was 22 (I'll be 29 soon). It is not as bad as one would initally think. Please PM me if you have questions. I have done a lot of research and have a wonderful doctor - I have made a few lifestyle changes and I really to feel good. I lead a very active life!

You are in my thoughts!

Jenn, you and your family are in my prayers. Lupus was something my doctor's thought I had and I did a lot of research. Thank God I didn't have it but I learned a lot! She can have a happy, normal life. There is a ton of information out there, hopefully she will take advantage of it. Take care of yourself, you can't let yourself get sick from all of the worry and sadness.

Jennifer, how can you be expected to take so very much all at one time?Some how God will give you the strength to carry on and believe me there
will be so many better days ahead. Try to look for the rainbow on your
shoulder. Your Mom and Gracie will put it there!! Prayers coming for all of you.

My heart just breaks for you. I felt so bad reading about Katie and was just in disbelief about your Mom. I can't imagine that much pain and loss in less than 2 days. When I just saw this thread and was reading and you said things got worse, I said out loud "Oh noooooooo" and was afraid to read on. I will continue to pray for you and your husband and your families. Thank God you and Jim have eachother. I pray that you will be able to have a nice Thanksgiving. I know it will be a hard one. My heart goes out to you....
