♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | OH MY this mornings findings Well i let the dogs out this morning and they where barking barking which is not normal. So I look out and in the corner of the fence on the outside of the fence there is about four little baby oppossum running around. and then one starts toward the dogs i don't know if they thought it was mom but the barking should have warned them. I ran out and got the dogs. Hoping the mom is around somewhere have not seen them in awhile. otherwise i will have to watch over them

| Oh I hope they'll be ok. We had a baby squirrel that believe it or not hopped into my husband's truck when he had our son to the park (This was years ago). Well, he came home with it because it would not get out of the truck. I wanted to take the squirrel in and bottle feed it, but hubby said it appeared to be an older baby and should be fine. I watched over it, while it played outside in the yard, and next morning I was heartbroken I woke up to find it laying next to a statue we had on the lawn of a squirel. Poor thing was dead and must have thought the statue may have been it's mother. I'll never get over that. I was just heartbreaking. Please, keep an eye on them and make sure they can eat and fend on their own. That was my lesson learned. E. |
