HELP...Need a loud 20" box fan for "white noise"

OK...now I'm laughing hysterically. Just downloaded a "white noise" app to my iPhone with over 30 different sounds. One of them is a cat purring. It sounds like someone snoring which is the exact sound I'm trying drown out.

I have used this one for about 20 yrs..it's recommended on lots of sites and baby sites. I love it bc it's not a digital sound (which can have a loop to the white noise...so then I focus on the pattern of the noise, oy).

I don't think it's loud enough to drown out snoring though...that's a tough one.

I love that one Nancy posted, cool! Going to have hubby use that when he travels.

Ann, thank you for the suggestion. That would be a good one for traveling. It's kind of hard to take a box fan with you everywhere. I did read reviews on it stating it didn't work as well for loud snoring. Does it come with a roll of duck tape???
