I’ve read that some people think that “Zanny the Nanny” referred to Xanax. There’s also a children’s book called Zanny the Nanny. Could it be possible that she gave Xanax to make her child sleep, so that she could party , and then just gave her too much, and decided to cover it up? It sounds like the grandmother was very willing to take Caylee anytime, but Casey was jealous of the loved Caylee had for Cindy. I just can’t figure out Casey she would want to kill Caylee? This video has all three 911 calls made by Cindy, you can tell when she learns Caylee is actually missing. |
I am sitting here crying after listening to those videos that nancy1999 posted. I wonder what the last 911 operator was thinking during that call. I know I work in a call center and we would all be talking about that call and giving opinions. Casey seems so composed. My heart just aches for what that baby went through. |

This is just a thought I had--has anyone even thought that if Caylee was put in the trunk of the car (with or without duct tape or any drug) for any amount of time, that she may have died of heat exhaustion? June in Florida may as well be HELL as hot as it is. No one in their right mind would even leave their dog in a car, much less a closed-up car trunk. |

Has anyone seen the new fireworks this weekend w defense not disclosing witnesses opinions to prosecution? Threats of Fl. bar looking into atty conduct, contempt hearings....! I'm also wondering what the defense atty on this thread thinks as a practicing atty about Baez's conduct? Lack of good faith? It would be interesting to hear through her eyes what things look like! What's everybody think? Should the jury be given an instruction on the misconduct of the defense? |
Oops, sorry, I just remembered, she used to practice as a defense atty, husband still does - my apologies! :( Hope you have the time to give us the "inside the legal minds scoop"! |
I am trying to keep up but don't have time to watch the trial, still very confused and glad I am not on the jury. It would be a shame if they for some reason don't find her guilty. |
I'm not exactly sure why the defense is going down this road. Usually the burden of proof lies on the prosecution, but now with this whole "Casey was raised to lie" crap NOW the defense has the burden of proof to show that the rape ect ACTUALLY happened... |
Was recessed today, after the prosecuting attorney and defense attorney were arguing at the beginning of todays hearings. Judge said he would exclude key witnesses for the defense if they continued to present surprise opinions that neither he nor the prosecution knew about beforehand. That can lead to a mistrial. Baez had asked for a mistrial last week so that may be his plan!!! Prior to Casey Anthony's case his only serious case that actually made it into court - a murder case - he lost. The guy was sentenced to 15 years in prison, and has requested a retrial on the grounds that he had defective counsel. |

I think it's interesting how we hear the jury has hardly been taking notes. It makes me they didn't feel very conflicted on what the prosecution presented, and therefore, didn't need to jot questions down to consider later. I wonder if their note taking has changed/will change as the defense proceeds. |
