Don't use sugarless gum... most contain Xylitol...very toxic to dogs. There is a natural treatment for grubs:

Milky Spore and Nematodes. May take up to 2 seasons to work, but lasts for years. My lawn is on year 4 or 5, and I used to find grubs everywhere. Haven't seen one for a year or two. And no moles or voles.

Just sprinle it on the lawn and water in or wait for rain.

Thank you for your suggestion. I haven't seen any grubs at all, but that doesn't mean they are not there.

I used to see them all the time whenever i tried to plant anything... anywhere from 1-6 inches deep in the soil. Mostly around 1-3 inches though.

Khloe actually killed a blind mole in our back yard. I wouldn't pick it up because it resembles a rat, and I begged the hubby to but he got side tracked from doing it. Then Khloe went outside and rolled around on it and smelled horrible when she came back in. So I'd say you could let your little furbabies take care of them; they'll do a fine job. (:

Shotgun, Duct tape, and C-Rations, and I am ready for anything that comes my way.

Now I did not mean to use the shotgun on the Pits, but on the owners. Personally, I believe Pits that come from good breeding, and with responsible owners are great dogs. Many that have Pits should not be allowed to own them. Any dog can bite, some just can do more damage. I knew this when I got a Cane Corso, and like Pits, they are getting an unfair rap because some idiots are using them to fight. Again, breeding, training, socialization, and the owners.

Ew... GROSS I just went out there to stomp on the mole trails and there was a dead field mouse!! Gross!! I picked it up with a shovel, and now I'm creeped out!!! Can't even enjoy my backyard without being grossed out.

Oh believe me if I had a shotgun (or even knew how to use one) I would be out there. hehe

I agree, pits can be wonderful pets with the correct socialization that they need. We grew up with 2, and the only thing we worried about was our dogs getting excited and whipping us with their wagging tail. lol.
