| Severe weather! Tornados! Violent weather.....3 very possible tornados.....hail........all around Waco tonight. The most excitement we've had around here in a very long time. We needed the rain badlly. Reminds me of when we were kids and the parents moved a table in the hallway and we got under it. Ahhhh....the sweet memories.

| I hear you! Every time I've turned to our local channels yesterday afternoon or this afternoon they were all on live with radar and weather chopper live feed of the storms down there in your area and Corsicana and Van Zandt County, etc. We sure do need rain here in Texas! Springtime here is not for the weak-kneed!!! I am no fan of thunderstorms, though my dog doesn't mind them a bit. I keep saying I need a human Thundershirt!

| I hope you don't get tornadoes we just had in St. Louis. It has been very devastating here. But I understand about the memories. I was born and raised in Kansas and whenever the tornado sirens would blow, we would all run to the door to see where it was instead of running to the basement like you are supposed to. LOL

How funny! I love thunderstorms. Betty Boop doesn't mind them at all. I carried her out on the back patio earlier and she just looked out at the heavy hail with no nervousness. My dh just bought a new truck and it stays parked outside, so we'll see in the morning what damage was done to it. His Honda Goldwing is parked on his side of the garage. The storms are finally moving out of the area slowly. If I were playing games in the game section under "what are you listening to now", I would say THUNDER! Think I'll go play games now. YT has been a little slow lately for some reason.

♪♥ Jazi & Izi's Mom ♥♫ Donating Member | We're praying for all of you that are expecting bad weather. We had lots of thunder and drizzling, black sky, but so far so good.

I do the same thing when the sirens go off. Probably should get out of that habit based on the horrible storms in STL last week.

| It is still raining over my house, but the threat of a tornado is still likely only about 7 miles from here. It's looming.

| I just heard on Channel 4 Fox News that over 100 homes were damaged in eastern Van Zandt County according to their Emergency Management spokesman. It was really rough south and east of Dallas today and tonight.

| our turn Wed we are gearing up for bad weather tomorrow. We have had a lot of flooding and really do not need anymore rain but they say we could get as much as 5-6 inches. My dh and I have already been put on standby with Ky. Baptist Disaster Relief team in the event they need us. I hope the storms will be less damaging here. take care all. |

Last night Arkansas got hit. It is really tornado season! My son goes to school in Jackson, MS and they have had so many tornados there it scares me to death. Everyone tells me our hurricanes are so horrid and the destruction from them is -- but we always have such advance notice. These tornados are unpredictable! Prayers to all in their paths or cleaning up or worse dealing with a loss from their destruction.

| I'm glad to hear that you are ok - hope everyone else in the Waco area is safe! Your tonight's weather is our tomorrow's - the violent weather is supposed to be in GA around noon. I love thunderstorms - for me it is a reminder that there is a force in this world greater than me, and I call Him God. We have lived here for over 20 years and have had heard tornadoes bounce over the house on more than one occasion. I guess I have more work to do before I leave this world. |
