I'm going to DVR it to watch with my daughters! They are 8 and 9 years old. I was 8 1/2 when Princess Diana and Prince Charles got married....how crazy is that?

If I had unlimited funds I would go to England for the hoopla....I think it would be fun!

Lol, I'm going to England a month AFTER the hoopla! But that was planned before the engagement was even announced lol.

I think that is awesome you are going to watch with your daughters! It will be something they'll remember!

I will probably get up and watch it. I remember watching Charles and Diana. My mom was born and lived in England until she was 29. Right now my cousin and her husband are here visiting us from England. The brought my daughter a mug and coaster with William and Kate on it. They said they aren't getting up to watch it! lol

For those who don't want to get up early to watch, don't worry, it will air so many times you will get tired of seeing and hearing it. :~)

I ABSOLUTELY adored his mother I still remember the day she died like it was yesterday. It broke my heart into a million pieces and I never even knew her. My very first book report I ever did in first grade was about Princess Diana! I told my mom I wanted to grow up and be just like her!

I will DVR the wedding. 4 am is for the birds!

I can only hope that they continue on with his mother's legacy and all the charity work she so loved to do. Truly a one of a kind person she was!

Honestly, I just am not into it enought to get up at 4:00 am! Plus, I have to work that day. They just happen to be getting married on my birthday!

I figure I will see enough on the news clips, Inside Edition, E News and so on and so forth; that I will feel like I've seen the entire thing.

Why can't Kate keep using that name? Why the switch to Katherine?

I think it's a push by the royal family because Catherine has been a historic queen consort name and it sounds more formal than Kate. Her full name is Catherine (yes, with a C!) and if she becomes queen, it will be Queen Catherine instead of Queen Kate

She has been called Catherine by the royal family and the letter "C" is imprinted on all the official memorabilia.

Awww thats nice...my Mom got me up to watch with her I was 16...it was a great Mother/daughter bonding time...My Daughter is all grown up and away at college but we do plan on watching it together...thru computer webcam

I am hoping I remember to set the dvr. I do not work till 2pm, but I need to sleep. I remember watching his parents' wedding. I was 17. She was beautiful. It was the stuff of fairy tales.

lol...I'm already tired of hearing about it....but still want to see it Friday, just don't have a need to hear about it 24/7.
