Aww, she's adorable. :) Congrats to your daughter. I want a bunny, but can't have one right now. Ellie's vet said she refuses to take care of it if I got one. lol. They are not easy to take care of if everything is done right. She has a turtle and a gecko, but she didn't like dealing with her bunny. They are so darn cute though. I'm told guinea pigs are easier. |
Awww, congrats on your bunny. We have a bunny...had him for a little over 3 years now. He is liter box trained and is on our outdoor patio. He has a crate he goes in and a fenced in area he runs around in. He loves Lexi they actuallly play together chasing one another it is cute. When he doesn't want to play anymore he just jumps in his cage area. Of course he is bigger then Lexi...LOL |
We've had bunnies for the last 10 years. We adopted two Neatherland Dwarf bunnies from a bunny rescue group. One of the bunnies was so sweet and the other one was kind of mean but they were a pair. They were litter box trained and got along well with our dogs and cats. Somewhere I have a picture of the cats and bunnies sleeping together. Very cute. We now have a bunny my daughter got from a friend. (4 years old). He is bigger than the other bunnies we've had in the past but very sweet. The bunny rescue lady showed us how you can put a bunny in a trance. If you turn him upside down (in your arms) and stroke between his ears and eyes he will relax so much and not move. We do this to cut his nails. It's pretty funny. |
Aw that is cute!! Little Daisy is adjusting nicely. My hubby didn't freak too much when he got back from his business trip yesterday. At least she doesn't bark. :D I introduced her to the babies one at a time. Wally just freaked and he was afraid of her but he is afraid of everything. lol Coco just licked her face..she didn't like that. Trixie, my big one, just wanted to sniff her bottom  and Pebbles actually was the best one with her. She sniffed her a bit then was uninterested. My daughter takes her out of the cage for a bit during the day to play with her and hold her. I want her to get used to being handled. Now that it is getting warmer I will get rabbit fencing and make a pen area for her in the backyard. She can go in there and play while I am out there gardening and stuff. We are out in the backyard quite often in the summer. I get her a salt lick and some hard munchies for Easter. |
Part of Ringo's puppy class was the trainer bring in her HUGE bunny so the puppies could get close to another/different animal. We had to put them on a down/stay as one by one, they were allowed to go near the bunny. (Poor bunny). Ringo loooved that bunny; it was the biggest bunny I've ever seen. Now, of course, he couldn't be trusted near one. |
