| Any one in the Akron, Ohio area need a nanny? So I am moving to the Akron, Ohio area for the summer with my boyfriend, that's where he is from, and I have been applying for a summer nanny job for months now have had tons of interviews but have yet to get a job. I'm getting nervous because we planned to move there the first week of May. Everyone tells me how great I am and how professional ect ect and then they decide to go with someone else or decide that they want long term care, which I completely understand. It's just so frustrating! And it's so bad because I get so excited for each one even though I know better. Thanks for letting me rant So if anyone is looking for a nanny for the summer in the Akron area or knows anyone looking for one I would love to talk to you!

| Can't offer a job... but last summer I went through 10 interviews before I found my work-term placement. It was frustrating, so I know exactly what you're going through. Advice - sit down and write down a few things from each interview you think went well, and if there was anything you think didn't go well. See if anything matches up, maybe it can give you a hint of things you could do better on the next opportunity. Also some people are willing to give feedback, it's one of those things you have to play by ear, but one of my interviews I made it to round 3 which was a dinner meeting with the owners, and I asked, what it was about me that got me in the door, so that I knew even if I didn't get the job I knew what I could work on to get the next one. Good luck, I'm sure you'll find a great job, sometimes it just takes patience (I know not what you want to hear )

| I am going through the same thing. I am getting interviews but no offers. I have never been in this postion before. I have 23 years of experience in my field. I know one was because of a wonderlic test that I had no clue was coming and timed. Oh, well I keep plugging something will come along. |
