| Ever go through phases like this? I tend to go through phases when it comes to movies... As much as I love movies and going to see them and renting them, etc, sometimes I go through my thing where I'm just not in a movie mood for weeks or even months. But lately, this past week, I have watched sooo many movies and I am totally in a movie mood all the time, LOL. Oh, I also go through my particular actor phases a lot. Like, two years ago I went through a Nicolas Cage stage where I was watching a bunch of his movies, etc. Now, I'm in a Dennis Quaid mood after seeing Soul Surfer, hahaha. I've always been a Dennis Quaid fan but I hadn't seen a lot of his movies from the 80's (hey, I'm a 90's girl) so I've rented a few on iTunes in the past few days... LoL. Anyways I tend to do this with a few actors... Anybody weird like me?!?!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yes, I sure do. That's how I watch TV all the time. I can change my viewing preferences in a split second. Lately it's the FOOD channel & old sit coms. Then it will be straight movies of one kind or another, then news channels, then.... Can't explain it though. I just enjoy whatever it is, and move on whenever I run into my next quirk. LOL - enjoy!

| Oh, lord, me too. I remember I was late to watching NCIS, discovered it one day and watched like 42 episodes on USA over a couple weeks. Then I got sick of it and started watching LMN movies one after the other. Then, TCM and its old classic movies(my favorites). Now onto some of HBO's tamer fare.

| well- I have been in an anti movie mood for years, LOL! I am not that big on going and sitting in a movie- Its very rare that a movie can hold my attention for two hours. Once and awhile there will be a movie out that I just really want to see and I will, but I don't go to movies very often at all.

| I tend to be that way too and I love the actors you named. I dont like to sit through a movie either thats why I prefer to watch them at home where you can pause and take a break.

And yes Brit, I've go through these phases all the time, lol, I remember one fateful Sunday of watching ANTM all day long! And I totally get hooked on actors/directors and won't stop until I've seen all their movies (or at least the good ones ) | |

| i go in and out of movie phases, too. it seems like when i do it it's more related to genres. about a year ago i was on a WWII kick & watched everything i could get my hands on for months, then i saw the Tudors & spent a few weeks watching all 4 seasons...then i had to watch Elizabeth & on and on! the same goes for crime drama (SVU & First 48) & comedies (Dinner for Schmucks, etc.) what i hate is when the industry goes through a "phase"....like a couple of weeks ago i wanted to go to the movies and there was seriously not one thing i wanted to see. sometimes between my dvds, dvr, netflix, library, vid store, red box i still can't find anything! then i just spend more time on YT!

Yep-I've done the sitcom phase too. I watched Boy Meets World for the past like 4 months and I've seen EVERY episode so now I'm kind of over it, hahaha. I always do that to myself... I over watch/listen to things and then get sick of it.

| OK! I am totally like that with sitcoms- Gilmore Girls and the Nanny are the two I tend to watch a lot of. I actually had to stop with the Nanny because I would stay up all night long watching.

| Back to my Dennis Quaid thing as of late.... I watched Something to Talk About with Julia Roberts and him the other day and I loved it. I haven't seen a lot of his movies made before The Parent Trap (that was the first movie I saw of his, Lmao, showing my young age here!) and I was obsessed with it back then. Anyways I also watched Far From Heaven and the movie was a bit slow but amazing acting and I really loved it.

| I'm not much of a movie person, but tv, I get rather addicted to. I'm a real crime and law person... So I'm into criminal minds, bones, NCIS. Just finished the Tudors a while back, now we're watching Arrested Development which is absolutely hilarious. Now if only some decent new movies would come out.. oh well I netflix is like my best friend. Any good suggestions from Netflix if I ever get the time off to watch a 2 hour movie with Harley?

| Yep, I do the same exact thing How was Soul Surfer btw? I was planning to see it soon with my mom since she's a huge Carrie Underwood fan. I'll go on kicks with what type of shows or movies I'll watch or actors like you said. I tend to go on kicks for a few weeks too with what I'll spend my free time doing - ie. watch alot of TV, alot of Netflix movies, spend alot of time on FB and YT or I'll have weeks where the tv and computer are off and my Kindle is practically glued to my hands lol. And I guess every once in a while I get in the mood to actaully spend some time with the dh he's not as much fun though lol I went on a Nic Cage kick a while back too
