| Anyone Heard from Concretegurl? I think the last posting she made was the 8th so I am thinking she must have had her baby. Anyone heard from her? Just want to know that everything went well and she is joyously caring for a new baby boy! So exciting! Since my baby-making days are long behind me, I have to live vicariously through the younger folks! I'm making her a baby afghan -- slow work with one hand not cooperating but it is almost done. I think she may have beat me though So how about it -- anyone know if she has had the baby yet?

| I thought I remembered seeing a mention in a post that she was expecting. Maybe she has already had the baby if she has been away since the 8th. How exciting for her and her husband! I'm like FlDebra and my only way to enjoy babies these day are through others and can't help but get excited when I hear a new baby is here or about to be!!!

| Not yet! All excited for nothing recently, unfortunately still waiting on baby. Been dealing with some stuff and lots of getting ready, contractions are steadily on and off at only up to 30 minutes apart, so back to the Dr. in the morning, will post pics soon and updates. Thank you all for the well wishes!

| I hope everything goes well and that your baby is healthy and that the delivery is as painfree as possible.. I know the baby will be very loved. I will be thinking of and praying for you, Shannon.

| Sending well wishes for you and your baby Concretegurl. What a happy time. We are expecting our first grandchild (it's a girl) in two weeks (more or less, lol). Exciting times for sure. Can't wait to see your pics.

I only have a few more rounds to go on the afghan. I am using a new pattern, a little different than ones I've made before. Hope you like it! I used primary colors in the round -- very bright. When your little one outgrows it, you can make it a pup blanket! All my pups love afghans!

| Debra....you are making me so jealous!!! Can I pretend to be having a baby so you will make me one?? Hint hint.....ummmm, it's a boy too....love the colors baby blue and brown! I'm kidding (about faking a pregnancy ) just think a home made blanket is the most awesome gift!

| He's here! Marek Benjamin 4-22 10:09 a.m. 8lbs 1 oz! Red hair, lots of blond and brown tones through out 10 digits top and bottom and eyes are still dark blue thus far... After about 3 weeks of on/off nonproductive contractions, attempts at mild induction (stripping membranes, teas, massage etc) we scheduled a medical induction for Friday morning at 7 a.m. during the 'overdue' non-stress testing in the hospital. Well Thursday night was rough, restless, then exciting...we showed up to the maturity ward at 6:40 a.m. Friday in labor ready to go no induction needed, a couple hours later we had a new baby! Haven't had time for much fun or leisure lately but I hope to post again soon! Oh! The dogs are adjusting nicely, a little curious smelling at him, no marking any baby stuff...well yet so lets hope, and they all seem very calm with him, almost aware he's a baby; a bit defensive of what's going on when he cries though, Elvis will prance and circle and 'grunt whine' at me. Scoobers is pretty familiar with babies, he just likes to sit by watch, a of course loves people coming over-they are really here to see him. Princess Monster is surprising turning out to be very mellow and well behaved with her curiosity! Baby doesn't mind (no jumping or crying at all) their barking at all; guess he heard it before and it's a familiar sound actually, he'll sleep through them altering to someone at the door! Sister is a lil mom again so helpful, and brother is adjusting to not being the baby in the family anymore. Pic 1 Skin Kid Trio Pic 2 Red Hair Mohawk Pic 3 Yep! A doggy jumper outfit with his tongue out like so many Yorkies!
