| What wood product would you buy? My husband is a self-employed carpenter and is looking to make some products the YT community would be interested in buying. What items would you like to see made available for YT'ers to buy? He does excellent work and has made some nice beds (three sizes) stained in light, medium or dark stain, he's made a personalized leash hanger and he's made a single and double feeder (can be personalized). What items are you looking for that are hard to find that you'd like to have? If you have pictures or can just tell me the hard to find items you've been looking for or something you would like made especially for your furbutts, it's very possible he can do it. I'll be more than happy to pass the information along to him. He has made a large bed for ladyjane605 and 107barney so far. You can find his products in the "Yorkie Products for Sale" thread.

| Ha mine would need something out of petrified wood as they are all part termite. They've added wood pellets to their diets for fiber!

| LOL.............mine used to chew but not any more. Surely they aren't tall enough to chew a leash hanger.

| I am looking for a small, but a bit taller than cat size, raised feeder for my older Yorkie, that holds either flat style 4 in cat dishes or the 3 inch round stainless steel cat bowls... so the bowls are 3-4 inches off the ground... possible?

| Something like this? If it's too high, it could be made closer to the ground.

I would consider a leash hanger... for four to accommodate Buddy Belts and leads... maybe out of 1/4 inch plywood, light red walnut stain....?

| He said he can do the leash hanger. How many hooks do you want on it and how long do you want it? Something like this?

| This one was made of clear pine and stained with English Chestnut stain. He can make it any way you want it. If you have a sketch or picture of what you are looking for, PM me and I'll give you my email address.

| I was going to suggest stairs too but now that you mention ramps I would be interested in buying one for my front porch so the 15 year old could get back inside without having to jump up the two stairs to the porch. That's a great idea. Teresa |

| I would also be interested in an affordable water bottle holder/stand. I have a water bottle on the side of their little wire crate and they use it often. But I would love to have a large one that stands independently. I have thought about ordering one online but it is dificult to determine the quality from a picture. I would feel better about buying something like this from a Yorkietalk Vendor where I could hear others' experiences and feel a little safer about. Here are several different styles & prices: Purchase - Pet Water Bottle Stands Adjustable Pet Water Stands Water Feeding Stands Pet Water Bottles Drinking Food Stands Pet Toy Boxes Maltese Shihtzu Lixit Farnam Pets Cats Dogs Animals Looks sturdy but a little pricey. Dog Cat Water Bottle Stands by Mr Foo's Shih Tzu of Indiana, Missouri, Illinois Pet Water Bottle Stands Trendy Pet Items :: Dog Water Bottle and Bowl Very inexpensive Pet products, unique dog collars, fleece dog coats, dog harnesses, gifts for animal lovers Another inexpensive one Aquarius Products Bottlebabies Ordering

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | The one thing that I read on here that people have a difficult time finding is what to use as a whelping box!! Why not try something like that? Most people have no idea where to start when it comes to tools and such. I made my own out of wood, with hinges (so it could be stored when not in use) and with two different levels for before weaning and after weaning. Mom has access to box and I can also raise the sides so that the pups do not escape when they get older. Not sure how affordable it would be to ship, but to offer somehting like that at a shop, flea market or craft show would be great.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | A ramp with no slip base would be great for those of us with no carpet in the house. Also one that would be lightweight and fold up out of the way when not in use. For us show exhibitors I'd love a lightweight fold away "box" arrangement, that I can travel with. This is to place in the bathtub of hotels so that when we wash our Yorkies the floor is lifted up so we don't break the back when washing....lol It should have a non slip surface. stand 3.5-4ft tall when unfolded and not slip in the tub How's that for a challenge. Also want to be able to pack it in me suitcase.

| Thanks for all the great ideas. I'm printing them out and giving them to my husband. He is in the process of making some steps with storage in the top step. When he has them done, I will post a picture to see if any of you are interested in them. I'll let you know what he says about the other suggestions.
