Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | New haircut? I have worn hair extensions for 4 years now and am sick of them, I am going to take them out tonight and get my hair cut hopefully on Saturday. Currently my extensions come down to my belly button and my natural hair is the same length (wear them for thickness not length), I am looking to get it cut to just above my elbow.. that sort of length. I would like some layers cut in and a sweeping side fringe (I think they are called bangs in the US?) But im not sure... which hair style do you think would suit me? You can see a picture of me on my Facebook, if you click under my user name it should be on Rachael's website or something like that.. Let me know which style you think would suit me please. EDIT: If the link to my Facebook dosn't work I have joined the YT fan page and my name is Rachael Knox

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Here's a picture from your facebook page for others to see. http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/hprofile..._7280113_n.jpg You're very pretty and your face shape allows you to wear many different hairstyles. I've always thought that too long of hair is less noticeable, then shorter hair. With extra long hair, girls often push it back behind their shoulders, and so you don't really see much hair. Of course, elbow length sounds really long to me. Do you have a really good hairstylist? I really think that can make such a difference in selecting the right hairstyle, they can look at your hair texture, and know if layers will work for you. What you describe sounds very pretty.

| Oh you're gorgeous! Belly button and elbow length seems like the same to me! LOL I'm sure anything you get will look good, you have that face.

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | I supose your right elbow and belly button are more or less the same LOL I think maybe boob length would be better? (LOL cant think of another way to describe it). I took my extensions out last night and it feels GREAT! Going to book my hair in hopefully for tomorrow morning. Im liking something like this but maybe a little longer: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SFyG1EzwVl...fe-2011-14.jpg

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I've wondered how people could get use to extensions, something like that would drive me nuts. The picture you linked is adorable, and I love the layers around the face, I do think that is a great length and sometimes if you go longer hair can look thinner. The stylist has to cut the layers to blend and if length is longer all layers will be longer and that can throw the whole thing off. Think of 70's hair where the only layers were around the face, from the side it looked kind of weird. That's a great picture to take to your stylist. I hope you let us see the results!

Had my hair cut on Saturday and love it! I didnt go as short as in the picture because it was a big step for me getting so much cut off after years of growing it and wearing extensions. So I had it cut to about elbow length with some long layers and a side fringe (bangs) I will take a picture this weekend when I have time to style it properly, because for through the week at work I just tie it back.
