Yeah, I noticed that. I think they just hijacked it from the news and posted on You Tube. But the 'story' came from a Spanish news source and was picked up by the Australian news. I found the link on Fox news.

The snake probably wanted to swallow it, as snakes will, but decided it couldn't unhinge its jaws *that* much and just bit instead. Bad move on the snake's part.

I actually seen this on another site..although I find it funny that she got bit..because clearly this animal was in my opinion very patient...and if I was that snake I would have bit her much sooner. But, the snake didn't die. This rumor spiraled out of control from a joke site.

I tried snopes but it is not on there there are tons of sites going both ways snakes died or snake did in fact not die...none list the name of the snake or owner so all seem unreliable in my mind...

poor wittle snakey poo... i used to work with a couple of snakes for youth programs for the conservation dept. i like them and have fun watching them run through my fingers and tighten around my hands. i would never kiss or lick on a python. their eyes aren't always good and they will bite in fear.
