| Precious video, but have the tissues handy! A friend sent this to me this morning. I think because I'm having to make some very, very difficult decisions about Belle. She is my foster that is very old, has Cushings disease, cataracts, and infections on her old age spots. She also has dementia now. The Vet. said I should consider putting her to rest, but I'm not ready for that and I don't think she is either. She isn't in any pain, but she's having to spend a lot of time gated in the kitchen because she forgets where the pee pad or even her bed. I find her sometimes sitting inches, face first, from a wall. It's so sad. In this video it shows just how determined the little dog spirit is to keep living. Amazing Story of a Dying Dog That Was Rescued

| amazing! and you'll know when your baby is ready to go to rainbow bridge. it'll be pretty obvious. old age is sad for people and dogs, but it doesn't mean that they're doomed to their grave. sometimes it hurts us to seem them old, but they can still live happy little lives even as old dogs. it's when they're in pain and suffering that it's time. and only each parent knows that time. |
