We went to our first appt. last Wed., and the baby has a heartbeat of 174. I was also further along than I thought. :-P Here's my alien ultrasound that I wanted to share. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Congrats!! I am due August 7 and I will be 41 when I give birth

total accident. My oldest will be 20 then 17 then 11 when the baby comes . It's a blessing and I am very excited. Wish you so much luck for a happy healthy baby!!

Wow....my sister-in-law had her little girl in 09 at the age of 42. Her son had just graduated high school. Big shocker for her too, but Addie Beth has turned out to be a blessing. Can't imagine not having her in our family.

Aww, I bet he or she will be a miracle in your life. It's fairly common and safe to have children at any age in this day and time. Congrats!

My best friend is pregnant as well. Her ultrasound looks like a hurricane to me.

Sounds like a girl's heartrate number! According to "wives tales" I guess. Can't wait to see if that's right in your case. Congrats!!

I have a boy and a girl, and my mother's instinct makes me think it's a girl. I'll post when I find out. (: Our next appt. is the week of March 21st. Our next big appt. will consist of testing for down syndrome; these appointments wreck my nerves. Just praying for a healthy little one. (:
