| How are my TX buddies doing? How are all my TX buddies doing in the unusual weather down there? Just spoke to my cousin. Said he can't remember it being this bad. Maybe so, but he is old and his mind drifts. Sunny here, but cold. Next week, even colder. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | The Dallas area got into the 50s today......so things are greatly improved! But the length of time the icy roads lasted this time was the longest I can remember.....schools closed for 4 days straight....that might be a record! I know we have nothing to compare to those of you that live up north! We just dont have the "tools" to deal with the ice/snow! I definately have a new respect for anyone that deals with this regularly!

| We're north of Dallas (and would love to be one of your new buddies). It was definitely warmer today, but I've lived here 26 years and I haven't seen this many days of ice and snow before. It was beautiful yesterday...about 8" of snow here and reminded me of my days in Ohio and Michigan. The dogs loved it!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I am thankful. I havent taken a relaxing vacation in over 4 years. I have been pretty exhausted with my 6 days a week working. So many of my clients canceled because they stayed home. It gave me time to relax and get some things done. Glad it has warmed up a little. But they are saying Tuesday or Wednesday we are getting more. I just hope the temps stay up high so nothing accumulates. |
