Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Temporary hair color After several years of coloring my hair I'm sick of it and letting the color grow out. So I now have about an inch of hair close to my scalp the matches Tallulah's back and the rest of my hair matches Tallulah's face. What looks pretty on a Yorkie looks ghastly on a human. I've been reading up on different types of temporary products that shampoo out -- since the YT community knows something about everything, I KNOW there are at least a few people who have used these and can share their experiences. I don't expect an exact match -- would just like to make it not quite so obvious. I have shoulder length hair and I'm not going to cut it short, so I'm going to be living with this growing stripe for quite some time... |

| What sucks is that "growing stripe" on your scalp will go further and further down your head. Try a permanent color. Yes, you are going to have to color again, maybe(if you are lucky) 6 weeks, but not as fast as with a temporary. There are plenty to choose from on the market. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | If your aim is to grow out your natural color one choice is to have a hair colorist, put "low lights" in the light color hair that match your natural hair color. Another option is just to color the whole head your natural hair color. I use to use temporary hair colors to cover grey. Loving Care is one brand and it and actually conditions the hair, and lasts about 6 washings, but if your hair is porous from being colored, temporary colors will show up much darker and last much longer. I think if you really want to keep your length, going to a good stylist is the best idea.
