| Question about cats and home cooking Do any of you home cook for your cats? Can cats have Olive Oil? My Mom has a cat and she would like to home cook for her but she doesn't know much about it and she doesn't have a computer. Do you have any websites I could go to and print a diet for her? I know cats have different nutrional/supplement needs than dogs and she wants to be sure to get it right. |

| Yes, they can have olive oil. You can buy a recipe here: https://secure.balanceit.com/_clients2/index.php?dl=1 It would be completely balanced (have to order a supplement). They do use corn oil to formulate their recipes if that matters...

| You can buy Taurine in vitamin and health food stores, but this is used when the pet is put on a vegetarian diet. It's a conditionally essential amino acid.
