| Mite get snowed into work tonight!! KC MO I'm in the middle of a bad snow storm here in KCMO. I think at this point I may get snowed in at work and have to walk home. Lucky for me it's about a half mile at the most to the house. I'm pretty close! Anyways it's near dark out now and really full of the white powder and I'm here until 10pm tonight so I sure hope it stops snowing soon! DH is stuck in parkville, MO about a 45min drive from here and prob. going to stay with his brother in his appt. there. bad bad night in KC with snow. prob. at least 5-6 inches since noon and still going to snow all evening and night. |

| I hope you can get out of there, and safely home. It is no fun getting snowed in, especially at work. Make usre you are bundled up if you do walk....I guess you can consider it an adventure. |

| Rachel, I heard KC already has 7" and is getting more and headed my way. It started here in St. Louis a few hours ago and it's coming down really good. We are supposed to get 6-8" where I live. Toby is NOT going to be happy but Speedy will. She LOVES snow but not sure how she's going to feel about 8" of the white stuff. I may end up having to use a vacation day tomorrow and that bites! I don't want to waste a vacation day to be stuck in the house. UGH..............

| Hope you were able to get home safely to the babies. We didn't get snow but they are talking about subzero temperatures. Make sure you check back in to let us know you are home safe.

| They've closed most schools and activities. I got home from work ok yesterday evening. They were having wrecks all over the place. It wasn't the amount of snow as much as it was what was underneath it. It rained, sleeted, and snowed all afternoon yesterday and off and on throughout the night. There is still a little forecast until noon. I'm south of where Rachel is. I hope you got home ok last night, Rachel. The highways and streets are all snow-packed and slick! We got to work ok, but drove about 20mph!
