What's up with Lauren and her inability to move about the stage? She just does not move and just stands in one place and sings. |
i started watching it a half hour after it started and had it taped on DVD. i fast fowarded thru alot. just not into it much now. still dont want Scotty though. i hope Lauren wins but i'm not voting. That gold dress she wore was beautiful :) |

I'm with you.. i did like Laurens last song but i would buy from either |
I thought both of the did really well. I love the song Scotty sang that will be released on his album if he wins. I liked Laurens song too. I think they will both do very well in their singing careers. I do hope that Scotty wins though. I liked the song David Cook sang tonight too. |
Lauren all the way :) |
i never thought i'd ever say this EVER because i've hated her this whole time...but with that last momma song...Lauren has won this IMO. That was soo beautiful and made me feel moved by her. that was a perfect first release song. Good luck to them both, but i think Lauren has this one |

I have to agree with most. Even with James, and I did love Pia's voice, I just don't think there was actually an "American Idol" on there at all this season. I have yet to vote this year and that has never happened before. Debating on whether to vote this morning or not...both are good, but I do prefer Lauren. Just can't stand to watch Scotty sing.. Recorded the Voice last night. Should have watched it! Much more talent!! |
I'm just not into it anymore - ever since James left. Seriously, he had it all. Great strong voice, presence on the stage. These two, Lauren and Scotty, are boring to me. Can't stand watching Scotty try to be sexy to the camera and Lauren can't move. I did half-watch it last night while the kids were watching it but neither one impressed me much. If anything, Lauren's original song they gave her will win her the contest. I just can't understand how these two got to the finals though. Disappointed. |
Well, I too am just not in to it anymore. Of the two left, I think Lauren is the one who has consistently improved over the season, and it showed last night. I like her much more than I did early on, but it's always been a popularity contest. The real talent will do well regardless of who wins the vote. |

This season has been weird because I really did like them all (top 12, even most of the 24) for different reasons, BUT I usually have a favorite the whole time and this season I didn't. Idk, I do like AI and I'm sure I'll keep watching it, but when I sit down to watch TV and it's on the DVR from earlier or the day before, I tend to whatch my other favorite shows first. It's just getting too repetative and the whole popularity contest thing vs. who actually sings the best is getting on my nerves. As much as I loved JLo and Steven this season, it was just kind of boring this time without Simon. Anyway, I think Lauren has it (I've actually thought that all along) and the finaly shows are always fun to watch so I think I'll watch it live tonight with my mom to make it more fun to watch :). |
[QUOTE=AlicetheYorkie;3546310]I agree, that song most likely put her over the edge. It's kind of not fair though. I liked it much better when the "first release" song that they sang in the final was the same song, much more fair that way. I can't remember if these two song's were written especially for them? If that is the case, then the song Laureen sang is not an original. Kristy Lee Cook has this song on her CD. Kristy was on Season 7 of AI. |

I have been a Lauren fan since Day 1- I really hope she takes it all! Anyone else get tickets for the Tour? |
Just want to say that if any one is recording AI tonight to make they go longer than the two hours, cause on my TV Listings they show it run over by 10 minutes. |
