| I, too, used the new Jergens lotion, and after a few days, I was getting orange on my knees, ankles, etc. I tried it because I'm out in the sun during the day, in the yard or on our horses, and so my arms & face are dark, but my legs are pitifully white. I wanted to balance them out so that I wouldn't scare people when I wore shorts But it didn't work for me. If anyone knows of anything that works AND doesn't turn you orange, please let me know!!!!

| I used coppertone and it worked. If you put it on too heavy in an area it would make it orange though.

| For sunless tanning,...I recommend the "Mystic Tan" that is now available at tanning salons. I tried Coppertone's sunless tanning...and ended up a bit orange. |

| Mystic Tan is incredible. Go twice the first week then once every week after that to maintain the tan. It doesn't turn you orange and looks amazing. I use it in the winter to maintain my tan. It's roughly $20 a session but you can buy packages that give you discounts and for the money you definately get what you pay for. I love it!

| sunless tanners anyone?? I ran across COMODYNES self-tanning towelettes and so far they haven't turned me orange. I noticed a tan several hours after the first one I used. Nothing drastic though. I've only used 2 so far and my boyfriend has noticed. I actually bought them at a second hand store so will have to find out who sells them. I really like em.

| sunless tanners anyone?? I looked online. It costs about $12.00 for a 8 pak. Pretty spendy. I'm glad I only paid $1.00. I forgot to tell you, Be sure you wash your hands right after applying. I forgot to the second time and my hand is pretty tan. Just my right hand though.

| For a couple years now I have used Loreal sunless tanning...BUT>>>> All of the above products mentioned can be differant to everyone. For example. I tan in a booth so I have a base and not white as a ghost, so the Loreal or any sunless tan product does NOT turn me orange. Now, if I used this stuff on virgin white skin then maybe it would. I also have used the air brush tanning - not an automatic kind but the one where someone sprays you. This I highly recommend. The person spraying you can mix the mixture to tan your skin with the type of color you have going in. For instance, go in white and you wont get as much dye so it looks more natural. Go in with an already base tan and she adds more darker dye to it. (sugar cane - that is what most of this is) I don't recommend the auto spray booth as it can not be regulated to the natural color of your skin when going in. This of course is my own personal opinion, LOL!! However, Besides me being hooked on my Yorkie, Schatzie I am a tan freak and for years have tried most. So for me, I have found the air brush tanning to be top notch!! It last for 7-10 days and as long as you don't go in with any lotion on or oil and exfoilate very very well at the end of the week, your skin will be BAHAMA BEAUTIFUL!! Happy tanning everyone!!

| Thanks for asking the question. I have my 10 year reunion comming up in July, and I am part irish and had a cancerous mole removed from my back when I was 11, so I am a ghost. I have been looking around cause I have to be a drop dead knock out for the reunion so a tan is a must. I've tried the creams and always get orange knees, back of knees and ankels So people like the spray tan from the salon, might have to check that out. I know this might be a stupid question, but since I haven't ever done the tanning bed thing, what exactly do you wear in them, I would guess bathing suit but I don't want the strap lines.
