YT Vendors w/private profile pages

I think it is a good question -- wish the vendors that actually do have their Profile Page set to Private would answer and then we would know the reasons.

I only ran into it once and I wondered why they would do that. My only guess was they wanted to make sure people did not order that way. Maybe they preferred to get their orders by PM or on their website. Maybe they did not check the Profile Page comments daily. Only guesses.

I actually was looking for a website address too and thought it would be on their Profile, but it was blocked. It did not bother me and I did not think they were hiding anything but I did go on to another vendor to make my order. So, that might be something for the vendors to think about.

I actually tried to decorate my Profile page once but it was too involved for my old computer illiterate self. So, it wound up being left half-done. Ah well -- still works and I can get comments and show my pictures. That is all I really need one for. Maybe that is it -- they have a half-finished profile page tooand don't want to look as unprofessional as mine.

Here's an aside comment: Is this thread getting hit by the full moon/eclipse factor too? It's just a question!

Not exactly sure of everyones idea of Private, but I have my albums and visitor messages restricted to friends only. Sorry, this is the net. My page is also private on facebook. However, if you click contact me, you will see my web address to contact me. You can always PM, send a friend request and I will answer right away.

Not sure what my albums and vistor messages have to do with being a vendor. ??
