My little boy is getting married!

No, I don't mean Joey, I have two sons that I didn't neuter, and they ran off to find other masters! My youngest boy found a lovely woman and they will be tying the knot in January. The shower's today, and I just thought I'd share the news. For those of you who have sons, you know the feeling, you're really happy because "Your job is basically done", but you're really sad because "Your job is basically done." :p

Here's their picture, its kind of a shotgun wedding, Rambo wanted it legal!

Thank you Jodi! I was so pleased when I learned she loved dogs, and I absolutely love the way she treats Rambo, (and my son). You can tell so much about a person and what kind of mommy she will be to human kids. You know, some people its just all about "them!"

He is a handsome man and has chosen a beautiful fiance. I am happy they are doggy lovers too. Congrats...now, time to be the mother-in-law:witch5: Just teasin...I am sure you are a dream MIL:)

Congratulations Nancy! Your son & new DIL to be and their little cutie patootie puppy are all lovely! As for "your job always being done" -- I don't know the feeling because I don't have kids -- But, I know what it feels like to "never" have my job done because I have Teddy Bumpkins :aimeeyork :eek:

Very handsome son! They make a beautiful couple. Glad your son found a good woman, gorgeous and a dog person at that! Since I have 3 sons, I know all too well what you are talking about when you say "Your job is basically done." Very bittersweet and a huge adjustment for moms. We have to pass on the #1 gal title to their wife, but that is what we want for them. I am happy my oldest two have found such great women to share their lives with. My youngest is in college & I hope he waits til he graduates and finds his true love too.

Enjoy the shower and upcoming wedding! Just think -- a ready made grand-dog!

What a gorgeous couple. I have heard you speak about Rambo's Mommy and she sounds like a wonderful woman. It sounds like they will make a very loving married couple, and possibly terrific parents down the road. That means the title "Grandma for YOU!!!" OMG! :) You'll love it! :)

I know, I'm plenty old enough! I think the younger son will beat the older son on this. I was so ready for grandkids 4 years ago, but I didn't want to nag the boys, so I got my own little baby, and I can spoil him rotten, and I don't have to worry how he'll turn out! Seriously, if I'd known about yorkies, before I had babies, I'm not sure I would have . . . whoops, I better not say that on a public forum!
