CONGRATS to you and the whole family. I think it's such a blessing when Moms are thrilled with their son's soon-to-be wife. Tony's Mom is one of the most loving and giving people I know - and she is such a wonderful MIL to all her kids' spouses.

Yes, that's Rambo, and they want to find a little brother for him after their honeymoon. :p So, I'll have one more guy running around peeing on everything for a while. Wedding is at the end of January, so at least it won't be hot.

I understand perfectly what you mean with sons about your job being done:):( I appreciate my own mil acceptance and love even more now because I understand what she must have felt, the happy but sad emotions.

Lol, no, it's not a shotgun as far as I know, they've been engaged for quite a while, my illegitimate grandson is a Shih Tzu. They're just waiting till after the honeymoon to give him a brother, which I'm pretty sure will be another Shih Tzu.

You have no idea how hard it is, even if the girl is perfect. I've warned them both that I cry hard at weddings even if I barely know those involved. I was so afraid that my crying might make them think that I was unhappy, but she said not to worry, her mom will be crying as well. I need to find a purse that will hold a box of Kleenex; a handkerchief won't cut it.

I am so happy for you that your son has found such a nice girl who is also a dog "person". I wish them a world of happiness. I can feel your pain, my "baby" is 17 and I don't even like him to talk to the girlfriends on the phone! LOL! She is very pretty though and they look very happy together.

Actually, another hard part of the process is getting to know the girls he dates. I fell in love with a couple, and even though I kind of knew that they probably weren't right for each other, I really liked the girls. It's sad when they are no longer in your lives. It's like he'd break up with one, and I had to go through a period of mourning before I could fully accept another. I'd tell him don't bring them over unless you are sure this time! Same way I feel about the single mother introducing kids to new boyfriends; wait until you think it may be permanent.

Funny...Joey's wrestle style is kinda like Marcel's, in that he 'pounces' at his opponent, and goes in for the 'snake move' (as we call it) - this is the move where he'll snap in super fast for a quick little bite, retreat like lightning, and repeat.

Hey, I have a question. What do you use for video editing? Or, did the person whose name is at the end of the video do it?

Here's my thing...I film in .mov (like most), but I only have Microsoft Movie Maker on my PC, which means I can't edit a .mov file. So then, I have to use a conversion program to turn it into .avi or .wmv....and when it's all done, I just feel like it's ruined the quality/clarity. Anywho, you can always just PM me if you want, bc I don't want to hijack your thread :D.

Usually, my videos are usually an "NV" production, but in this case, it was "Dawn King", you know, like Don King? :p I use a free Ulead VideoStudio that came with my computer. My son bought me a really great program, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. :rolleyes: The simple programs, usually have easy ways to edit the video, add music, and add "still" pictures, with titles before and after. Some of the more complex programs can do so much more, and give you "special effects", but I like things simple because I forget how to use it between editing jobs. Look for the free programs, they are usually the easiest.

Some editing programs will open any movie file, and with others you have to change the format, and this does decrease quality. Every time you convert to another file quality is decreased. On large files, I do change to a fla. file before I upload to U-tube because they change it to a fla, and it usually converts better if you can change the settings. All my programs are at least 7 years old, so I don't know which are the best programs to use with the newer computers. I know that there is a huge difference if you convert the file to a fla file before you upload it to U-tube, I've done it both ways, especially for the long version of Joey the Barking Wall Spider, and quality difference was remarkable. So you could look for a program that opens a .mov file, but can convert to an fla file. U-tube has some videos of how to get the best quallity uploads.
