Oh no Patti, I just saw this today and am so sad for you and Nikki. I'm so glad for Nikki and Carol that you made it possible for them to have that one last time together. I will definitely miss your updates :(

Carol will be smiling and watching over her Nikki and you. She was blessed to have you in her life, seeing your posts about her and Nikkis\' visits always made my heart warm.

What sad news. I am sure Carol was happy knowing you were taking care of Nikki for her and that he had a good home. It was so nice that you visited her and your posts were always so uplifting.

I am very sorry to read Carol passed away. May she rest in peace. I will miss seeing your pictures of her with Nikki, and reading of your visits. Patti, you reaffirmed my faith in the kindness and generosity of good people. Thank you for giving Nikki a loving home and for going out of your way to brighten Carol\'s life with your visits.

I am so very sorry for Nikki\'s and your great loss. I have tears running down my face after reading this. It is so apparent how much the three of you loved each other. It sounds like you were more of a daughter to Carol than her own children. That, and the countless other ways that you made Carol\'s life more beautiful, makes you an angel in my eyes. You are such a special, beautiful person. Carol must feel so comforted that Nikki is being cared by you. You are such a loving and giving person, and you have given Carol the gift of friendship but also peace of mind. I will be keeping you and Nikki in my thoughts and prayers. My deep condolences to you, Nikki, and your family.
