Hi guys. Sorry I have been gone for a few days. My mom was in the hospital. The doctors found blockage in her heart a few weeks ago and they placed a stent. This Monday, she went to a different doctor because she still wasn't feel right. The new doctor placed a new stent on Monday. Yesterday she went back in the hospital because she has chest pain and was having difficulty breathing. She is ok now and home. This was definately a wake up call and showed me that I have to be committed to working out and eating healthy! Recently, a patient at my poe told me she was a beachbody coach. I had no idea what that was and wasn't interested in becoming a "coach." However, when my moms stent was placed a few weeks ago I decided to join. I love it! It makes me stay focused in becoming healthier and helps me earn some money on the side. Yesterday, when my father and I was taking to the doctor in regards to my mom, he mentioned her cholestrol being high and her good cholestrol being low... I brought up the shake I drink in the morning, Shakeology. I asked him what he thought about my mom drinking it to lower her cholestrol...he seemed to be on board with it!!! I have learned so much over the past few weeks, most importantly I have learned how much I appriecate my family and my health. Have a good day guys! Don't forget to make that effort to work out!! |

I was only able to work out 5 days this week due to doctor appts but made sure those workouts counted. I lost a whole pound..lol..oh well. I will be working out today in about an hour then going to visit my daughter I hope. This coming week will be hectic 2 kennel club meetings, a conformation class, seminar, but only one dr appt so hopefully will have at least 5 days workout again. I ate ff yogurt and granola for breakfast today. |
I feel like I get discouraged when I weigh myself. Muscle weighs more than fat. I feel we should focus more on how we feel and if our clothes are fitting better. What do you think? |

Lost an inch on my waist and gained 3 pounds. Tells me my old muscle has turned to fat. If your cloths fit better, you are doing great. I have been using mainly weights and walking. Now it is time to use the treadmill at an incline above 6 at 4 mph for at least 45 minutes, and the weight will start dropping, and still use the weights. |
I joined Weight Watchers this past Thursday and walked 3 out of the last 4 days. |
Another week is starting tomorrow and I will start all over again my weekly workout. It is hard to do the workout but hey when you put clothes on and feel good in it. All the hard work just really shows. So yes I will be doing my workout tomorrow. Oh yeah I did order the Zumba and cant wait for it to come in so I can try that to. Its good to change up your workout. It helps from getting burned out. |
Was going to go to gym this morning but decided I'd walk to work instead and that gives George his daily walk at the same time,it turned out to be a beautiful day, it was a good 4 km walk but we did it just on 45 minutes, a bit late for work but we made it in time for morning tea (I only had fruit and a cup of white tea, no milk or sugar), tonight the gym has a Abs class so I'll do that and thats my lot for today, tomorrow is Centurgy class a new release so that ususally gets my heart going, clothes still feeling tight so I'll just keep slogging on.:( |
Where is everyone? Today I went out to lunch with some coworkers to a pizzeria. Pizza is my weakness. I am very proud to say that I got a ckicken salad!!! It was hard but I did it!!! I plan to work out tonight for a bit. How did you do? |
I am interested. I don't want the winter pounds to sneak up on me like they did last year. Great idea! |
Oh NO Disaster I just won the morning tea shout and it has arrived 24 delicious cheese cakes/ custard squares and cup cakes only 4 staff today thats 6 each, my diet is out the window today I just can't not eat my share:eek: |

Gym last night new release was hard and it really got my heart pumping so that must be good, tonight I'll do weights mainly my arms with a little bit of cardio. Trying to change my food as well thats hard, loads of fruit and vege and trying out a new recipe for dinner tonight, Chicken breast and broccoli- baked in mushroom soup with a sprinkle of cheese P.S the cheese cakes were yum and I only had 1, saving 1 for today:p if I cut out all yummy food I know I wont stick to my new diet so a little wont hurt -Right?????:rolleyes: |
Did 2 hours of picking up lava rock in the garden and raking yesterday and today. Went to Zumba class. Ate pretty good and I feel like I gained weight!. |
Power class last nite, new release really hard and my arms are sore this morning.:thumbup: |
Im still waiting for my Zumba Videos to come in so I can start this new workout... But till then Im gonna enjoy my Turbo Jam video, and maybe some Treadmill. |
ladies i need motivation! i am going to join your group! im going to vegas the 2nd week in nov and need to loose a few pounds. i have a gym membership but go maybe twice a week if that, i need to step up my game! |
Cardio Cardio Cardio Its the best way to alter your metabolism I've lost 2 kilo so far, gym 4 days a week and spin bike at home, food is my downfall but working on it fruit vege and water water water, hows every one else doing |
Been sick for 4 days so I have not been to the gym:eek: Hope I feel better this afternoon. I know it is going to hurt when I get back there. Eating has been all comfort food. :( |
I've been...really bad lately. Starting to be good again. The week when I started was just too hectic and stressful. And I haven't exercised even once.:rolleyes: |
Contest!!!!!!!! Sounds like you guys are all doing great! I have been very busy with my new online business adventure. But, I did find some time to jump on my treadmill and workout to my slim in 6 DVD. Joey watched me the whole time...well actually he laid in his bed. :aimeeyork I really have been watching what I am eating. I find myself turning to healthier choices because I know how long I would have to work out in order to work it off! I crave healthier foods!! Power workout for sure today. Went to the gym and did cardio for 1 hour!! Then came home and mowed both my lawns, raked, bagged, and closed down the pool... I am exhausted. Also ended up skipping lunch which was bad. Had 120 calories for breakfast. Having a protein bar right now. Chicken breast, brown rice, and spinach for dinner... Might cheat for snack and have carb smart icecream..been craving it since I was sick.. :D |
