:) because that's the right thing to do. Just like adressing the "rudeness" or "whiney-ness" on this forum. |

I'm sorry you feel this way, I try not to be rude with people because I don't find the need to be, if they will not listen when you try to get your point cross on a well manner, I think they will listen less if you are rude to them, they get all defensive and put their guard up, and his twice hard to have them listen to you. I also understand is about the dog, but the bottom line who own these dogs? people, they make the ultimate decision on their pets life, unless someone call animal control on them. On the other hand, some people are certain way and they are not going or want to change, that is how probably they been treated and/or brought up, or circumstance in their life make them that way, they honestly don't know how; so you have to learn to tolerate them, I guess:( I have respect here for some good old members, because they will do what ever it take to help somebody and/ or a furbaby, they are just good heart it people, and that is why I decided to stay, through the years I have make good quality friends in here, few but awesome people, and also looking forward to make new friends, because any newbie here have potential to become a" good old member", jmho See my signature, who ever you feed the most, that will dominate, the foul side or the blessed side is a choice. Hugs and puppy kisses:animal-pa Greta |
YT is an AWESOME forum with so many knowledgeable members. No, you will not always like the advice you get or the manner in which it is delivered. Just like every other internet forum. But, you WILL get an answer to your question and several different perspectives. That is why YT is such a great forum. Yes, when you are new . . . it does take a while to figure out that most everyone is well meaning. And it takes a while to get a handle on everyone's internet personality. Once you have been here with a dog in need (as I have) ~ and have seen the overwhelming support that is available . . . you will see with new eyes. I promise. |

No, I didn't mean you in particular. I meant "you" in the general sense of anyone who posts. |

I know what you are saying that some people are mean. I have seen so many responses to various people looking for advice and sometimes it gets nasty and people get defensive and start fighting...its terrible. I just believe that the MEAN people need to ask questions and know the WHOLE story about the OP's before they make direct attacks. So much text is missunderstood here on both ends. I love YT and appreciate peoples opinions and take them constructively. |
