| Microsoft Excel I was doing inventory for my dad. I have everything listed in columns. Column A is Item Column B is the cost and Column C is the quantity. I need to figure out what the total cost was (so multiply the two Columns) Does anyone know how I can do this: without mannually multiplying all the rows, because there are hundereds of items, so i am looking for a shortcut. Anyone know how i could do that???

| Ok, so column D will be the Cost. In the cell of D1 you will type =B1*C1 and then hit enter. After that you will highlight the cell of D1 and put your cursor on the bottom right of the cell so that it becomes a cross or T. Click and Hold and DRAG down the entire column of D and goes as far down as need be. Then all the info you add in the the columns B & C will automatically be totalled in D. PM me your phone # if you don't understand I will walk you through it. It's VERY easy.
