Wow thats scary stuff, I dont think I could live in a house with a ghost.
I have never seen anything spooky myself but I know people who have.

My mum said she saw a ghost on holiday when me and my brother were just little.
She said they were sitting in the holiday apartment and a middle aged man in swimming trunks walked from one end of the room to the other then dissapeared.
She said he never looked at her or spoke to her.

My cousin died when he was around 9 years old.
I wasnt born when he died but I am told he was run over by a car.
My grandmother had a framed school photo of his in her lounge for years, and it would have a X across his face.
It looked like it had been made by someones finger, kinda like the mark you get if you rub your finger across glass you know? Anyway she cleaned it off loads of times but it always came back...
Most of my family have also heard him jumping up and down on the beds upstairs, but I have not.

My mums friends have also had some strange things happen.
One moved into a new house, she had an argument with her BF so he went to sleep in the spare bedroom for the night. He woke early hours in the morning to find a little girl hovering face down above him.
They later found out a litter girl died of cancer in that house and her parents are trying to buy the house back.

Another of my mothers friends had a strange feeling about her house and called a preist.
Her attic is in the hallway and as the preist walked in her said he could see lots of spirits looking down from the attic.

Other strange things have been seen too, more premonitions then ghost sitings.
My uncle is an alcoholic and has been in a bad way for a long time, one night my father was sitting alone downstairs watching TV.
He saw my uncles face in the window opposite him.
It was not his reflection because he could see his own face, and my uncles was hovering near his shoulder.
He said my uncle looked like he was slumped back, eyes rolling in his head with his mouth open... not long after that my uncle was rushed into hospital.

My nan also saw some sort of premonition.
She walked past the hall mirror and saw something out of the corner of her eye, she looked into the mirror and saw a nun glaring back at her.
A week later she collapsed in the bathroom and broke her jaw on the bathroom sink.
She went to the hospital and they sent her home with a bandage around her head securing her jaw, she then put her navy head scarf ontop.
She got into the car and looked in the wing mirror and she looked just like the vision of the nun she saw in the hall mirror at home.

My mother and I work for the ambulance service, a few months ago police called for ambulance back up to a women that was possessed.
We heard she was sectioned but have heard nothing more.

I just had to read this at almost midnight on a night my dh is not home, thanks Jodi.

I have heard voices in my house. I have called out to my husband before thinking he was talking ot me, when he would not be in the house or maybe asleep next to me in the bed. I don't like to expereince things like that either.

Many more people than we realize have a ghost or more living in their house, or should I say you are living in their house. A ghost differs from a Spirit in that the ghosts don't realize they are dead. They have an attachment to the home and are usually waiting for someone. They are most often friendly and mean no harm, infact they can be quite playful. They like to turn pictures aound, move things around, open and close doors. They also love to be talked to and have people acknowledge them. Remember they don't realizt they are dead. Most often you can tell them that they are dead and their loved ones are waiting for them on the Other side. Tell them to go toward the light, that people are waiting to help them. Only if you have a ghost that shows signs of being unfriendly do you have reason to worry. You can also try telling them to go home. When children say they see someone (especially another child) you can assume that it may be their Spirit Guide. Please don't discourage this, they came here togther and the Spirit Guide will watch over your child. My son use to play in his room alot and I'd hear him talking to people. It sounded like several people in the room. I asked about them and was told every time that he was playing with Timmy and Alice. I have seen my Spirit Guide several times and she talks to me when she has an opinion she feels I need to hear.... They don't like to show themself so you have to be persistant to get them to show. It's a totally wonderful feelinf to know that I am never alone, no matter what, she is always there along with my 3 angels. Our granddaughter is 2 years old and her grandpas (both deceased before she was born) come and play with her at night. It makes her so happy. What a wonderful thing for her to know them and to know they are watching over her. I guess I can get kind of long winded on this subject as I study the Other Side all the time. IT'S SO AWESOME TO KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT ALL THERE IS!

This may sound strange to some and it also sounds strange to me, too......Yesterday, Betty Boop had to go potty at about 3:30 pm. We were alone in the house. The TVs were off...Total silence.....As we were opening the patio door to go outside, I heard voices of 2 or 3 people, and they sounded like they were speaking another language, similar to Japanese. It was very short, but very distinct. I turned around and no one was there. Boop also heard it because she started barking.

AND..................

Betty Boop and I were on the computer the same day at about 5:30 pm, reading YT. The dh wasn't home yet, but was expected at any time. Both Boop and I heard a pop top, like someone opening a soda can. I thought the dh was home and was opening a beer. I went to greet him but he wasn't home!!!! The sound was as plain as day! I had no TV or radio or fans on. Totally quiet.

I can't explain this. We are the third owners of this home. The second owners didn't died here, but I'm not sure about the first owners. I need to research this.

Please don't think I've lost my mind. I don't go around waiting on things like this to happen. I don't even encourage it. Heck, I don't even think about it!

An old man owned the house which my BF lives in and actually died in my BFs bedroom... I dont know HOW he can sleep in there! He has never seen or heard anything strange but it still gives me the creeps.
Also isnt 3am the witching hour?

Belle will stand and stare at a corner, then start jumping in circles and barking at someone who is playing with her, I assume my father who would have adored her. Another one that comes often is your Spirit Guide. Just keeping yourself open to them will help.

Oh, please don't shut your son down when he talks about seeing and playing with friends or people from the past, especially since you are able to validate some of the info he has given you. I never use the word imagination as we don't see what they see. My granddaughter was in the bathtub at 3 years old and began telling her mother about her other mother she had in her other life and how they played when that mother gave her a bath. It's becoming more and more common for the children today to carry this gift and the "veil" is thinning all the time. I find it so exciting to study. There was an article a few months ago about a boy who was 7 years and developed a strong interest in old airplanes. His dad got him a book from the library and the little boy could name every plane in it. Then he told them what his name had been and what squad he was with. His parents and other investagaters validated all that info including the pilots parents and home town. How awesome.

My husband and I worked for an ambulance service for 15 years and boy some of the stories we can tell! One of the other girls on the service said she heard that when some one died on the ambulance their spirit passed through us and they know everything about us...lol I can imagine the looks on some of their faces if they knew all the things we had done!

When we lived in England, I was watching tv and looked at the glass door next to the tv and saw the reflection of a tall man standing behind me. I flew off the sofa, over the table and looked and there was nobody there.

Then, other places we lived I've seen shadows. Really creepy...

Now-when I hear or see something, I tell it very nicely that we are children of God and if they are not part of the devine plan then they need to leave as there was no place here for them.

When I was in high school I spent the night at a girlfriend's house and she had told me the house was haunted. Her bedroom was in the attic. During the night I heard what sounded like heavy boots clunking really slowly on the steps coming up towards the bedroom. I was hiding under the covers terrified and shaking. Then I felt the side of the bed go down as if someone was sitting right next to me. I was scared to death. I never even told her about it because I was too scared that she would tell me it was the ghost. If it was a prank someone in the house was pulling on me I think someone would have mentioned it the next day but no one did.

Also, some friends and I once rented a house that I believe was haunted. At night when I was home alone the door to the upstairs attic (where I slept) would slam shut. The rocking chair also rocked by itself and once I could clearly smell beer. I never told the others because I thought they would think I was 'losing it'. Then one day one of the others said the same thing was happening to them when they were home alone. Every one of us had the same thing happening when we were alone. Then one night when we were all home the light fixture in the kitchen came crashing down from the ceiling. Another time a picture hanging on the wall fell to the floor. We tried to reason that it was an old house and things like that happen in old houses. But I think we all knew that it was something more than just an old house.

One night when I was there alone a friend of my brothers came by and told me that something happened in the house and asked me if I wanted to know about it. I told him NO WAY and I still don't know what happened. I am a little curious though. After about a year in the house we all went our separate ways and no one has ever talked about it since.

Doodlebug...the same thing happened to me. I felt like someone sat on my feet and the covers pulled tight. I opened my eyes and pulled my feet out from under them, looked--nobody was there.
