Then I felt the side of the bed go down as if someone was sitting right next to me. I was scared to death. I never even told her about it because I was too scared that she would tell me it was the ghost. If it was a prank someone in the house was pulling on me I think someone would have mentioned it the next day but no one did.
Also, some friends and I once rented a house that I believe was haunted. At night when I was home alone the door to the upstairs attic (where I slept) would slam shut. The rocking chair also rocked by itself and once I could clearly smell beer. I never told the others because I thought they would think I was 'losing it'. Then one day one of the others said the same thing was happening to them when they were home alone. Every one of us had the same thing happening when we were alone. Then one night when we were all home the light fixture in the kitchen came crashing down from the ceiling. Another time a picture hanging on the wall fell to the floor. We tried to reason that it was an old house and things like that happen in old houses. But I think we all knew that it was something more than just an old house.
One night when I was there alone a friend of my brothers came by and told me that something happened in the house and asked me if I wanted to know about it. I told him NO WAY and I still don't know what happened. I am a little curious though. After about a year in the house we all went our separate ways and no one has ever talked about it since.
It is really weird to finally tell these stories because I have always felt like if I never mentioned them I could imagine that they probably didn't really happen. But just talking about it brings it all back to reality if you know what I mean. And now I know I open myself up to looking like a crazy person. lol |
Doodlebug...the same thing happened to me. I felt like someone sat on my feet and the covers pulled tight. I opened my eyes and pulled my feet out from under them, looked--nobody was there.
