I thought my first ones were. Then, I was reminded how naive I am.

They were great, very nice people. Husband and wife, about our age. A son around 5 yrs old. Then one night my husband and I were rudely awakened, by the ATF raid next door

Apparently this fella was a member of the Warlock motorcycle gang, and we watched as they unloaded all the firearms from his home, and carted his butt off to jail. Well the wife and child moved out shortly after his unfortunate incarceration.

Next we got an older couple. This lady was loooney. They were just weird from the start. She was on medication, when she lost her job, I guess she didn't keep up with it. I didn't like my kids anywhere near her. One of her worst episodes was when in the middle of winter she was in a nightgown laying on her front sidewalk cursing up a storm at noone. Just laying there pointing her finger where saying "f-you, and f-you" over and over again. Finally the ambulance came and carted her off for the 20th time. Not to mention that aftershe lost her job she was getting her electricity from us through an extension cord, which caused lots of problems between me and my hubby

Now we are at the present neighbors. They have been here for close to two months I think. Borrowed our new mower last week and broke it an hour later. We got it fixed and gave them the bill and they did pay us back. Now as I type this, they are being visited by the po-po.
It's not looking good here

You would think I am in a bad neighborhood, but I'm not. You would think these people wouldn't make it past the background checks to have to go through to live here

We are looking into moving in the future but I'm afraid we just attract the crazies

Yeah as I get older I see how nutty some people really are! Its crazy!

I have a friend who was out on her boat with her hubby one night. They get a call from the police that their house was broken into and some guy stole their broom and was yelling he was chasing demons out. The guy broke into 5 houses that night doing the same thing. Come to find out he was a psyche patient who went off his meds and relapsed. Well I found out a few days later, he lived 2 doors down from me. He went to her neighborhood bc his dad used to live there!

Then a woman across the parking lot came to my house one night and I had servepro there cleaning up a mess from a flooded bathroom and she says she has a whole fresh hot pizza that the pizza place delivered to her by accident, its sausage and shes a vegetarian. She saw the work guys and thought they might like it. Well when I opened the box it had 3 slices in it, 2 cheese only and 1 sausage and all were cold. hhmmm so I threw it away.
Weeks later she rang my bell and I opened the door and she said "Hi! I almost died" uuummmm ok... found out she had epilepsy and autism and her son has autism. She was sooo weird but I felt bad.

So many other weird neighbors. I guess they are everywhere huh? LOL Good Luck with the new neighbors, I hope all goes well with them!

Sorry to hear that...We have a rental house on one side of us, in the last 11 yr's we've only had two diff families living there (both GREAT familes too)... The problem is, neither one cared much for mowing the grass or taking care of the outside....ughhhh! Sometimes its looks like a house in forclosure with the grass 2 ft tall and bushes covered in weeds

i'm afraid to let Dudley get close to the fence out back, not knowing what's lurking on the otherside

We've lived in our house for 18 years and we have this one neighbor who is off the wall wacko! He wasn't like that before so he's either had a psychotic break or he's doing some heavy self medicating . . .I've had the cops at his house 5 times during the Summer for his obnoxious loud music and screaming. He lives by himself with his 2 or maybe 3 feral cats. He is quiet all day long and then around 9pm he starts with whoo hoooing and yelling and screaming out YEAH when a song comes on . . .then he will literally raise his stereo to about (hmmm let's say 100) this goes on for quite some time. It's not rap or anything . . .it's freakin OLDIES from the 70's! Now, you have to picture it . . .he shuts off all his lights so his house is completely dark, god knows what he's doing . . .which is why we won't go over there to ask him to lower his music. . .I figure he probably is getting hammered and is sitting there naked . . .maybe doing drugs? I dunno . . .he's in his 50's, never married . . he grew up in the house. He is really a nut job . . .during the day he will hold random conversations with himself mainly yelling at appliances or lawn equipment . . .he's start screaming out swear words . . .

The cops do absolutely nothing . . .tell him to lower his music . . . only 1 cop gave him a hard time and we heard the cop say . . ."I heard your music blasting before I even got up the street" and the guy said "sorry officer, I didn't know it was so loud" WHAT??

Now, since then, he'll play his music at a normal level, then BLAST it for about 3 minutes, then lower it again . . like he's playing with us . . .he'll scream out "OH NO, I hope the cops don't come"

Ugh, I can't stand him . . .

I moved from one neighborhood because of a whacked out neighbor, in to what I thought was a "good" neighborhood. In the past 2 years one neighbor shot a dog (and was just convicted of felony animal cruelty), another stole a bunch of money from investors and is on the lamb in South America, another set are beginning to look more and more like dealers with people coming in and out at all hours...Oh, and my other neighbor broke up with her boyfriend because she was fooling around with another neighbor's boyfriend-and they are now living together. I swear, it's only a matter of time before I see one of my neighbors on Jerry Springer!

Dang, sounds like you never have a dull moment, heck I'd be afraid to leave the house that I might miss something

Our neighbor is a peeping Tom...he actually told me I should mow the lawn wearing high heels and a bikini! And he said that he likes to watch me sun bathing.
We built a second shed so we had a nice kitty corner where we can sit and he can't see us. He got so upset about that; said we have to move it because he can't see "our garden" anymore.

Where are you living? Wow! I feel lucky now to have my neighbors. Even though we can probably film a reality show here of Housewives of NJ. Its a crazy fun neighborhood with lots of partying going on and just a bit of drama but nothin crazy like that. The main problem we have here is that everyone knows each other so well that if something gossipy happen you better watch because the whole street will know!! FORGETABOUTIT and move to JERSEY we all cover eachothers asses here and you never know what happens to the bad neighbors ...they just seem to disappear!
