Ok, so BF got home yesterday evening from 3 days in NYC with his brother, father and brother in law. He was sooo super tired and I had him go with me to the pet store. We bought a big tupperware container and all kinds of stuff for the turtles and got home and set it all up, a night heat lamp, a day heat lamp, a big log, some bigger rocks. The turtles are much happier now and our beautiful antique hallway table with the glass top is now a home for the turtle container. LOL I thought when BF got up this morning and realized what we did he would freak so when he came back into the room I asked him how the turtles were doing and he said "good, they are basking and they moved a bit but they are sleeping now" LOL I was laughing because I expected him to see the container this morning and go "OH MY GOOOOOOD what did WE do????" LOL

I've had turtles for 7? years now.

As other have said, if the tank doesn't keep clean they can smell!

My get excited when they get feed and am able to feed one (I have 3) straight out of my hand.

If you want excitement, get some fish for them to eat....and watch them go nuts
