Thank you both! The tech told me it would take 2 - 3 visits before I started noticing a difference, but I swear I can already feel one.

Full price for the chin area is $50/treatment, for underarms is $80/treatment, half legs $250/treatment....that's all I can remember off the top of my head. But they run specials every month, so I decided to just start with the chin area with the September special of 25% off, or $37.50 each.

This place runs huge specials in the Spring and again in the Fall - up to 50% off laser hair removal.

I'm waiting for that special to start in November before I sign up to have any other areas done.

That sounds pretty reasonable. I'd pay that much to not have to sit with the tweezers and mirror all the time. Where did you go for treatment? If anybody has had a good experience with a place in the Inland Empire (Southern California) I'd sure like to know.

I'm about to go back for the second treatment on my chin and it just ocurred to me - should I have tipped on my first visit? If so, how much is appropriate? The session only lasted about 10 minutes.

Also, I'm going to have my full legs done!! I am soooo excited!

I was told these treatments would take about 2 hours. How much should I tip for that?

I'm a big tipper but I have never tipped on laser treatments because I paid up front a big amount?! I never even thought of tipping because it seemed like a medical treatment to me- now I will be curious to see what the others think

I thought of it the same way, but then I came across the website of a local facility and their home page openly discusses tipping and what cost you should base your tips on. I wasn't sure what to think when I saw that.

I had it done a few years back. Mine has been permanent. The lady who did mine gave me a prescription for lidocaine cream so I didn't really feel a thing. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

I never tipped with the laser treatments either. I don't know, but it just didn't seem appropriate as it felt more like a doctor's office, not like a salon.
