I had to put my cat, Einstein, to sleep when she was 20. She couldn't articulate to me as to whether that choice was correct or not (for her). Making that decision sure as heck didn't feel cowardly. In fact, it hurt like hell. And it still does.

I can't speak for the kiddo in this video, but I'm not a fan of using cowardice as a scapegoat for the decision to euthanize. I think the decision to euthanize is very personal and it's not a simple decision .

Oh Ann...I am such a dumb chubby finger gal who slipped up and missed the most important word of that statement...the word NOT!

My comment should have read:

I am so sorry for being a party to another person's insensitivity...please believe me it was 100% unintentional! I would never think that way...it's just not part of my wiring...at all!

Oh dear me! Jo Ann, I so hope you knew my post wasn't directed toward you . When I had written 'you' in my post...I meant a 'general' you. But I wonder if it seemed like it was toward you bc my post directly followed yours. Definitely not the case !
