As far as when ready, I would love to get down there sometime in the fall or spring. How far are you from Dallas? I am sure they are multiplying. My cousin told me in Corsacana they now just ring the doorbell and ask for food, rather than root for it.

Skeeters are really bad by me. Once the sun starts going down, they all come out, and they are packing their own food trays and utensils. This has been one bad summer here with all of the rain, heat, and lack of hunting. :D
I'm way south of Dallas, in Corpus Christi, our place is in Woodsboro about a 45 min drive from my front door, but there is a place to stay out there also. We have had no rain recently but the big rains we have had before the heat of the summer have made everything so lush and gorgeous, there are fat happy cows everywhere!

I'm with you, I wait for it to get pretty cool out before I do anything too strenuous. Last Sept and Oct were still hot, let's hope this year it's a bit cooler.

Have you seen the Geico pig commercial where the pig cries weeee weeee wee wee wee all the way home? I wish you could shoot that pig. Every time that commercial comes on my dogs go crazy. :rolleyes:

Yea, I can't help but chuckle:) every time it comes on but sometimes I have to reach for the mute button real quick if I am trying to talk to someone.

I was pretty darn nice back then to, but a bit testy. Put the testy on the back burner, and now just kind and gentle.

I have never once thought of Steve when I saw it, though. :rolleyes: Now that it's been brought up, I'll never be able to see a pig without thinking of Steve again.
