Carlo must be related to little ROARie as they both have made great strides. They both still have battles to be fought, but they both have great people pulling for them.

We will take a lot of pics of the boat ride. We catch the boat on Michigan Ave....and it will be set up with a Doggie Bathroom and water bowls....We will bring our own water though. I hope the little dogs do not pick on Carlo, and let him enjoy his ride.

I'll make sure and tell hubby. Although, since he was a fly boy he ever stepped foot on a ship during his tour in country.

He was lucky. Those LGS's (Large Gray Ships) get old after 1 day. I was on a Mediterranean deployment for 7 months in 74 and it was no fun at all, espeically when you pick up a case of the Sea Sickness. Came back from that, kissed Marge in Morehead City, NC, walked to another Pier, and got in another Ship for 4 months in the Carribean. At least we had a break in having kids! :D

Typical Chicago Summer. Hot and Humid, followed by heavy rain, then 70 MPH winds, then you put the Heater on! HOT for sure. Was supposed to play golf Friday with a few neighbors, but we cancelled because it is supposed to be 96 and humid. That is just not comfortable. Marge called us Wussies. Almost as if she wants me out of the house! Imagine that!

Here's wishing that the heat passes soon, I'm ready for some cooler weather but you can keep the mosquito's! Getting the ranch ready for the fall, should be gorgeous with all the rain we have had earlier. Whenever you are ready!

As far as when ready, I would love to get down there sometime in the fall or spring. How far are you from Dallas? I am sure they are multiplying. My cousin told me in Corsacana they now just ring the doorbell and ask for food, rather than root for it.

Skeeters are really bad by me. Once the sun starts going down, they all come out, and they are packing their own food trays and utensils. This has been one bad summer here with all of the rain, heat, and lack of hunting. :D

I'll be in Dallas until October 12th.

Unfortunately it is not planned as of yet. With Marge's travel, I have to wait and see when she is gone. I will know in early Sept, but most likely, it will be in early to Mid October. When will you be there? Some big show out in LV also, correct?

I fly into Dallas, stay with my cousin for the night, then we head out to Corsacana where we do the fun stuff. Then back to Dallas, spend the night, and head on home.

I'll be leaving for Dallas on Sept 7, and returning on Oct 12th. Vegas is in November.

I saw this too but I am hosting a wedding shower for my nephew and fiance on Sunday. It would have been a great time too. dang it!
