just diagnosed with lupus I just found out yesterday that I have lupus. I see that a sister site is for lupus. How strange is that? I am so gratefull. I'm sure I'll be asking millions of questions. Thanks to whoever linked the new site. It's scary because I don't know what to expect. This diagnosis explains alot of things.

OMG! I am so sorry to hear this news. I know several people with lupus; actually, we have a friend from church who is in his 80's and had been diagnosed with lupus years ago. Is yours Systemic, SLE,? Anyhow, I will remember you in my prayers, Michelle. It is hard to deal with a new diagnosis no matter what it is. Your family will be great supporters for you and your 2 babies. If we can do anything, just call on us.

I am very sorry to hear that, waistfull. I hope you have the medical and family support necessary to help you combat this dangerous disease. There are, thankfully, people with lupus that are living normal daily lives. We do have a sister site, http://www.LupusTalk.com which may be able to help you.

I'm so sorry. I know you are scared but a friend of mine has it and no problem. She might have a mild case. She doesn't discuss it. We will pray for you.

I'm sorry to hear about this, but at least now you know and that knowledge will help you live a healthier life. From my understanding, lupus can be very manageable. I wish you all the best and I would say read, read, read...

| I am sorry about your diagnosis. Just remember that it is truly the unknown that is scary and the more you learn the more you will be prepared to deal with what comes along. Sending you prayers for better health.

Thanks to you all. I've been reading all about it. It is SLE that I have. I have to go in next week for a liver biopsy. I don't know what to expect, but I know He is looking out for me. I feel so much better when my yorkie babies are sleeping in my arms. Thanks again
